Things this game has made me hate:
Priests. Patience my proverbial.
Pixel hunting.
There are two holes. Clicking one will progress the story. Clicking the other will kill you instantly with no autosave.
No autosave.
Waiting. Interminably waiting.
The last half hour or so. Why? Why do this to us? I guess if it was at the start I wouldn't have made it through.

Things this game made me love and hate at the same time:
The unintentionally hilarious voice acting. There's obviously about three guys who all try to do a medly of regional accents, most of which fail with great aplomb.
Not being able to interact with an item until you have a genuine reason to. Realistic, immersive, really annoying sometimes.

Things that were great:
Atmosphere and storytelling were enjoyable.
Samuel's entitled rudeness to practically everyone.
Samuel has taught me a new way to end conversations: Simply stating "I think I will go now." and turning on your heel to slowly, slooowly walk away.

The actual game is engrossing, however, despite its faults. I'd recommend bringing a walkthrough with you though because the moment the game requires a crptic solution to a vital puzzle, it starts to drag. So, just play along, the moment something doesn't make sense, walkthrough it, shake your head at how ludicrous that particular puzzle* was, then carry on.
