Fun All-American early war fighter, Allison engine, 50 cals, flying truck. Very good! One of my favorites.

Despite originally releasing in 2014 this module is still one of the finest today.
Nuclear weapons, front aspect missiles, internal cannon, mach 2, with a respectable conventional bomb/missile ground attack capability.
Is it competitive with an F-15C? No. Can it kill said F-15 if the right conditions are met, and the pilot knows what he's doing? Yes. In fact, in a turn fight, there are areas the MiG-21 has advantages. The hard part is getting into the merge alive. :)

The cockpit is beautiful, and the interactivity is hardly rivaled elsewhere. In fact, compared to some contemporaries, namely the F-5E, it has advantages in some systems. For instance, PRMG landing is effectively an ILS. Unlike the F-5, you get both localizer and glideslope information, allowing you to land in the absolute minimum of visibility. The F-5 pilot can do this, but he only has a localizer, which puts him on runway heading and aligns him. As for the glideslope, the pilot must memorize tables, do math, or wing it. The "cheap" MiG-21 provides this.

An underrated aspect of the MiG-21 is fuel and engine management. It has a single, robust engine with not many gauges associated with it. Learn it and when anything goes wrong with the engine it is easy to see. There is no need to balance fuel, only to cut fuel flow from the (admittedly confusing) 1st group tank when the lamp comes on. This is not relevant as you learn to fly the plane but is a real life procedure, search "MiG-21 Fuel System" if you want to see a diagram of how it consumes fuel. Basically as long as Group 3, the feeder tank, has fuel, you are in business. But I digress.

A fantastic module, with every feature expected of a modern fighter (short of a INS/GPS), just way cruder. Competitive, beautiful inside and out, challenging, and fun. Fully recommend without any reservations, 10/10
