Absolutely lackluster in every way.

Graphics look like something from Playstation 2. Pedestrians are statues and the cars and buildings make GTA3 look good.

Webswinging is terrible. It feels like you have no momentum. Instead of swinging it's more like web-pulling. If you try to stick a web to the edge of a building and slingshot around the corner you are more likely to just end up stuck to the side of the building.

The walking controls are terrible too. Unless where you're trying to go is in a straight line right in front of you you're going to struggle to get there.

There's combat in the game but I couldn't figure out how to find it or do it.

For the first 30 seconds it's fun to imagine what this game could be, and then for the next 10 minutes it's disappointing as you realize how little of what it should be is actually in the game.

Stick to Spider-Man PS4. Even on a TV it's still more immersive than this VR experience.

Fun cooperative puzzle game. One person has the puzzles and the other person has the hint books. Great to get through with a friend you know well, probably hilarious to try to get through with someone you don't. However It's very short and there's not a much replay besides going through a second time in the other person's role.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Although the game states it has VR support it is unplayable on an oculus rift, the game will not scale your character correctly and you will not be able to complete puzzles. Play it on your PC instead.

I only play PvE online so I'm only reviewing PvE online. I can't offer an opinion of PvP or single player.

But in that context, it's the best survival crafting game out there.

Less buggy than most games in the genre.
Actually finished and released and not just 'Early Access' for 10 years.
Combat is solid.
Continued updates of both free content and cosmetic DLCs.
Pretty big world to explore with dungeons and bosses to fight, and with different biomes to explore.
Progression feels reasonable for the most part.
While there is a bit of grinding at higher tiers, most resources are easy to farm so there's very little RNG based frustration. Just patience.

Visually good. Good gameplay loop that keeps you alternating between harvesting, crafting, and looting. A very diverse range of romance options if that's your thing.

I will say that the voice acting is grating at times and that I had to take the "No Voice" option for my character. I know that only being able to save while sleeping is a staple in this genre, but with how long the days take and the amount of stuff there is to do in each day, it felt like a long time between saves before I could quit sometimes.

This game had a pretty rough start and it's not a secret, but in the past year the devs have put a lot of work into making this game worthwhile.

Visually the game is great, there's a lot of quests and sidequests to do, plenty to explore.

Basically if you like games about exploration this is an amazing game. I found the combat to be overly difficult and the combat controls feel awkward to me. Other than that it's a solid game.

The best thing I can say about this game is that the price is appropriate.

There's nothing particularly wrong with the game, it's just uninspired. It's mildly entertaining in a simple sort of way. If it were a mobile game, I might play it on the bus.

The graphis are meh, the music is meh, the sound effects are meh, the gameplay is meh. It's all just meh.

Not bad. Just not good either.

Surprisingly good for what's obviously a low budget game. Disclosure: I only paid 20 cents for it. Worth $2.99 though.

CS:GO Review
If you don't already know if you like Counterstrike, I'm not sure what to tell you.

It's a team based shooter with Terrorists vs Counter-Terrorism teams. There's usually an objective in the map, such as planting a bomb or rescuing hostages.

On the surface it looks like a modern/realistic shooter, but it's not. Yeah, it uses realistic weapons, and you die in one or two shots from most guns -- But besides that it's about as arcade/arena shooter as you can get.

Without spoiling anything, this game focuses on exploring narrative and player determination and how they interact.

The game is brilliant. Absolutely worth full price, and inexcusable to not buy if it's on sale.

What I liked about this game: Just about everything. It's an excellent port of one of the best sandbox/crime games of the last generation.

It's got the absurd fun of the PS2 era GTA games with the graphics and environment almost as good as GTA4 (props to rockstar).

The combat is fun and feels active. The story is humorous. The amazing interactions with your fellow gang-members are brilliant. It's the best Saints Row game, edging out the pretty awesome SR2.

What I don't like: The weapons. I always just end up using the pistols, and rarely the assault rifle. Everything else feels redundant to me. Shotgun has no range, SMG has no accuracy. The specials are fun but not practical for every fight. I feel like they could have done a better job with weapon diversity and balance.

The upgrade system makes you overpowered by the end of the game if you focus on health boosts and damage resistance. By the end of my first playthrough (x360) I was immune to almost all types of damage and had unlimited ammo.

Also: If you buy the complete package, the DLC will auto install and you'll start the game way stronger than you're supposed to be, with more vehicles, weapons, and perks than you should have.

Regardless, game is mad fun.
