The only way to beat The Stanley Parable is to only do exactly what the game wants you to... Which is exactly how you beat every story-driven game, the only difference being that The Stanley Parable is transparent about it and lets you see the strings that are pulling you. My theory is that all other employees are just in room 420, having some "fun".

Pros:

• Stunning graphics
• Brilliant popcorn-munching, bone-crunching story mode
• Great character roster with cool variations
• Crammed with long-term hooks, online and offline

Cons:

• Have to pay extra for specific MK stars
• Fighting can feel oddly

Against all odds, I think Mortal Kombat X can take on the best of Capcom and Namco and hold its corner. While the core fighting isn’t quite as fluid, it’s smart, inventive and a lot of fun, while the brilliant story mode, Factions meta-game and additional game modes should keep you coming back for months to come. Easily the best Mortal Kombat yet, it’s the first that can go toe-to-toe with Tekken and Streetfighter without going down.
