This game is amazing. It has been the game I have recommended most to any and all of my friends. You build your settlement up over time and can choose to stop accepting immigrants to have a small farming community or you can expand into an empire at your own pace. The mechanics being complex while also attempting to stay true to life makes them relatively simple to understand. The game is tons of fun for short bursts or longer sessions.

Planetside 2 is such an amazing game. The game experience still feels fresh and fun after so many years. The developers also care deeply about the game and continue to try and improve player experience across the board. This game certainly won't appeal to everyone. If the game play does manage to click with you however you will find thousands of hours of enjoyment out of an entirely free to play game.

If you do decide to give the game a try, it is more fun working together. Some weapons or vehicles will feel too weak for their role or entirely useless if you use them solo. Even with only three of four players working together these weak weapons suddenly become not only viable but incredibly potent. If you have any questions about something or can't figure it out you can find forums online or just ask for help in game. Everyone was a new player at some point and many people would not hesitate to take time to answer questions or even bring you along to help show you the ropes.
