A pretty damn big amount of fun is to be had in this game, I initially figured that this would be another Minecraft spinoff/ripoff as many people were screaming on the internet at the time I bought this game. And although the two games share some game mechanics such as mining and building with blocks Terraria is very unique in what it does.

First and foremost, the environment and playstyle. Terraria drops you off in a 2d sandbox which gave me Metroid and Castlevania vibes (great franchises! for the most part...) I never once felt this game was trying to copy Minecraft's style. The great stockpile of conventional and creative fantasy weapons at your disposal also helps give this game a lot of it's charm. This arsenal includes weapons such as a sharknado summoning staff, a dolphin minigun, a blade that channels shooting stars, a flail made out of magma and much... MUCH more.

The gameworld consists of many neatly pixalated and original biomes that tie the world together real well. The soundtrack consists of many sweet-sounding beeps and boops. And to top it all off the developers actually care about their game and provide periodic (free!) updates with fun new content and fixes for old content. Many other companies such as Overkill could take a big page from Re-Logic's book.

It was pretty hard thinking of flaws for this game because the aforementioned developers listen to their community really well and act accordingly, for instance. The NPC's (which you need to gain much of the unique gear) would often get overwhelmed by monsters in stupid cases and die. Re-Logic remedied this by giving the NPC's weapons of their own so they could at the very least fend for themselves, they even themed these weapons after the NPC's, the hairdresser throws scissors, the pirate has a cannon, the painter has a paintball gun etc etc.

If I had to point out one flaw it would be that your adventure in the world of Terraria eventually comes to an end, this might sound silly but it's true. After defeating all the bosses and collecting the strongest gear there's not that much left to do afterwards with the exception of creative building.

In conclusion I'd say that this game is well worth it's low price (especially in sales), so if a (coop) adventure exploration game intrigues you, grab a (few) friend(s) and have a great adventure. You won't regret it!

EDIT 12-05-2019: Since this review the crimefest 2015 fiasco has died down, some problems were addressed some weren't. The payday 2 storyline has been wrapped up and in light of this I would like to change my recommendation of this game, which only seems proper with the amount of hours I've amassed since my initial review. My general judgement still remains, play it with friends.

[Original Review]
I've held off from writing a review for a bit because I'm one of the people that got the game during crimefest 2015 (I´ve played ''The Heist'' though). Now to be honest from what I´ve actually experienced so far I don´t actually think this is a ''bad'' or ''horrible'' game in any regard, the gunplay is fun (albeit bad weapon balancing and superior DLC weaponary), the soundtrack is solid and overall there a not many co-op games out there that deliver the same kind of satisfaction when you succeed with your buddies.

But this is exactly where the problems start coming in, in my time playing this game I've mostly played with actual friends which is a blast. But when I got around to playing public games I was introduced to the toxic people that take up quite a chunk of this game's community. This can range from pretty much anything, people kicking you for not having microtransaction team boosts, people feebly attempting to do harder difficulty heists without ''knowing their stuff'' (sure you can get players that actually do well, but often it´s not enough to salvage the ruination that is the other 2 members on your team) and I even got kicked several instances at the end of heists for seemingly no reason. I don't know if it´s just me, but this is the stuff I run into 80% of the time i join public games.

And the amount of game changing DLC / P2W / microtransactions / lying devs, oh boy... I don't even need to explain those, just read one of the other thousand negative reviews.

So in closing, is Payday 2 actually a good game and should you get it? I'd say it´s fun, but only if you actually plan on playing it with friends. I also wouldn´t recommend buying the game / any of the DLCs whilst full priced.

I have never really been too fond of the Point-N-Click Genre, but when i bought this in a steam sale i was blown away. The main catch of the game is that you are Lee Everett a convicted murderer on his way to prison but shenanigans happen and you end up in the middle of a zombie apocalypse.

The rest of the game has you solving ''puzzles'' (using the term loosely since most of the puzzles are Putt-Putt level). And making choices for you and your survivor group such as: ''Oh no, theres only 4 pieces of food for 10 people who do i give them to and why?'' and: ''Gawrsh! two individuals i just met are under attack by zombies! which one do i attempt to save first?''

Its choices like that that have you wondering throughout the episode wheter you did the right thing or not, but more on that later. The dialog and bonding with the other survivors feels suprisingly good. All the characters are packed with intense, deep and sometimes even funny dialog.

The game consists of 5 episodes which arn't very big and took me 2 - 3 hours to complete per episode. A cool addition thing is that the stats are tracked and displayed at the end of each episode so you can see what everything else did.The Walking Dead world is filled with a lot of clues, backstory and information about how other survivors perished and other humans adapted to their new threat.

But all this praising? isn't there anything bad to say about this game? Sadly yes, a lot of characters have random moodswings and sometimes the conclusion of a choice you made feel weird, for instance. Theres a survivor which you meet at the beginning of the game and being my first pal and all i helped and supported him as much as i could through episode 1, but when i got to the end of episode 2 and disagreed with him about smashing an innocent persons brain in i got constantly berated by him about how i ''Never have his back!'' and that kinda spoiled the feeling of the game for me.

In conclusion, whether you've read the comics or watched the show doesn't matter (some characters make cameos but its not much.) If you fully want to explore everything the game takes about 12 - 14 hours to beat and i'd say it's well worth buying if you're a fan of zombie games (keep in mind that this isn't a gun-toting game but rather an emotional rollercoaster.) or the Point-N-Click genre in general.

Make sure you have a sturdy ''Q'' key though.
