it's pretty fun and generally excels at what it aims to do. Behemoth's stories are always funny and slapstick and the artstyle will always remain timeless. My only real criticism is the gameplay loop gets stale pretty quickly, and some encounters generally feel like they were made with co-op in mind moreso than a solo player. Definitely pick it up on sale if you see it.

It's everything I could have asked for in a remake for Risk of Rain. The game manages to still be completely fresh to play, and to boot, they've added a ton of new content, music, and officially added up to 4 player co-op. I can see myself playing this game for many, many hours to come. This game holds a pretty special place in my heart, being one of the games I played a ton during the pandemic. Thank you, Hopoo, Chris, and all of the guest composers who helped make this game as beautiful as it is.

A truly beautiful game with a captivating story of stopping at nothing to uncover the truth in an unwavering sea of lies and deceit. The game's overall pacing, mostly in the beginning leaves a lot to be desired for me, but this game is very much a product of its time in terms of actual RPG elements.

The story, the characters, and (most) of the Social Links are well written and had me fully invested all the way through. If you're looking for a fun and well written narrative, Persona 4 Golden will be a game you enjoy, much like I did.

Fear & Hunger 2: Termina is a game which at first glace has the simple reputation of "obligatory extremely difficult RPGMaker game with dark themes and unforgiving gameplay." While these observations are not entirely wrong, the game offers a really well done take on conveying the story of a hopeless cast of characters, and their brutal fight for survival.

I fully believe Termina is best experienced completely blind, with guides being used to an absolute minimal. The game will break you, and it won't ever stop being extremely harsh. But for the few who can manage to learn its quirks, you'll soon find yourself easily turning the tables on the monsters that once wiped out your entire party. The game offers 8 different playable classes, all with unique backstories (all of which are playable text adventures!) and more characters are soon to come into the game, along with new areas and enemies.

Even though I do think you should check out this game, I must stress that the themes in this game are terribly dark and will never hesitate to show you unsettling imagery or sounds. Take the game's warning 100% to heart, because it is not lying.

This is the best horror game I have ever played. FAITH redefines the horror genre and manages to do what Triple A developers and million dollar movies can only dream of - A compelling story and a dread filled experience, from start to finish.

Bravo Airdorf, and everyone else at New Blood. You've been some of the first people to make me scared playing a game in a long time. Chaos Reigns.

In it's current state, I cannot recommend Project Zomboid. This game has been in development for a well over a decade, and to its credit, this game started out with a really small team. However, as of the most recent build (Build 41 as of writing this) the team has gotten much larger, and a lot of the core development features that are being promised and delayed to further builds instead of being added by popular demand of the community, have already been mods that have existed *well* before Build 41, and even official mod tools. The developers have also been known to ban or outright silence anyone in their public Discord that is giving (more often than not) valid criticisms of the current development path and lack of proper communication from the devs. It's a really fun game, that has so much potential. But as it stands currently I cannot recommend this game in good faith without also telling you to install at least 30 mods so the game is fun and welcoming for you.

I have owned this game for a little over 3 years, and am only NOW getting around to writing a review for it...

Simply put, this game is incredible. A compelling story which puts you in charge of leading a lost child back home, while also attempting to save a dying, hopeless world. And when the time comes, will you complete your mission? Or will you save this world from darkness. A constant battle of emotions, from start to finish. Very few games can manage to have a consistently good story with no low points, and I am confident that this game is one of them. I am very glad to have experienced this game, and I hope you consider it too.
