I love the episode system.

I think the episode system is a fantastic answer to power creep and I think the people that dislike how episodes work are missing the bigger games design theory behind the concept. We don't really have a good answer to power creep in MMOs as far as things go. This game is setting up for long term stability rather and I appreciate that design ethic. I like this game a lot, the skills are fun, I like the idea of progressing through the same area and the resources levelling up with you because it encourages a bustling area to play in rather than other MMOs takes which spread players so thin that the world can feel empty at times. If you enjoy games with a good projected longevity, perhaps this game is worth trying for you!

Good Decision, Sony. Maybe you should let the game developers sort out things regarding their games and you keep your greedy mitts in your pockets that are already lined with the premium you earn from having published it

If you purposely made Skyrim harder by playing with that one coldness mod, the hunger mod and no fast travel, you basically just made a budget version of Outward.

Outward is a game that gives you a sense of progression without levels based on the gear you have and more importantly your own understanding of the game and it's core mechanics.

I saw many reviews talking about how it is too hard and people were comparing it to the soulsborne series and I think that was their issue that they went in expecting to already be good at it because they've play "other difficult games". If you like a challenge, try this game and respect the enemies, you don't need to pick every fight and understanding when to run away is a winning strategy. Every enemy can be a threat, so don't get overconfident.

One of the best OSTs I have ever heard from a game.

I found a wand I had never seen before that let me shoot a crate - which upon shooting the crate, it immediately did a U-turn and exploded for my entire health pool.
