Extremely fun - but not too much content and not very difficult.

While the game has amazing physics and melee combat, it really lacks on the content and challenge. It may be hard-ish for the first 2 hours, but it takes like 2-4 hours to beat the game (kill the captain, and to keep it spoiler free, let's say that's all there is to do. Rinse and repeat). A run lasts like 15-25 minutes-ish. So I didn't really see any point on going on and repeating the same levels without much variety on the exact same loops, just fighting different bosses at different order, but still the same 7-8 bosses. Which is really easy to beat once you know their attack patterns and dodge.

While it's fun - at it's current pace - it's worth only if on discount imo, as it offers like 3-4h of content at max, and then you just redo the exact same 20 minute run, which... gets boring once you know how to beat it easily. They are working on fixing how easy it is once you read out the enemy patterns, and adding an endless mode, but no real date of release yet. Maybe after endless is out, the game will be worthy even at full price. Other than that - a fun adrenaline rush that gets over it after 4 hours.

Gameplay is more fluid and better than RE:7. Story is also better. Overall a fun and solid experience. Recommended to play after playing RE:7 to understand the hidden bits of the story and references to the prequel. I just wish they would have added a normal iron sight ADS rather than that clunky zoom-in hip fire. Other than that, the game was very fun and enjoyable. took me around 8 hours to beat. 8/10

I haven't finished the game yet, if I had to guess I'd say I am around halfway through the main story or so.

First of all, I didn't play any God of War games past the PS2 a decent few years ago. I watched a recap of GOW1-3's story before playing just to get my brain right towards the game's setting.. but surprised to see that from Greek Mythology we went into Norse Mythology! Which is also probably the most interesting mythology in my opinion.

So firstly the game is challenging. I am playing through the "Give me challenge" difficulty which is almost the hardest difficulty to pick up. The gameplay is VERY fun and in the past 2 weeks I probably was quite addicted to this game.
On the other hand, I was blown from the fact GOW (well, at least this one, I can't really recall for the older titles) is very story rich. And the story is realllly good and interesting. I am literally wanting to see more every second of it and it keeps me on my toes. It's a lot more interesting if you have interest in the Norse Mythology as well!

The attention to detail in this game is also solid. The level design is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mind blowing. There are those small things that you encounter in this game and it's just things you know you will only encounter in a god of war game. One of the MSQ level design got me really impressed. To keep it as spoiler-free as possible (skip this next 2 sentences if you want to ignore a minor level design spoiler)

----------SLIGHT LEVEL DESIGN STORY SPOILER ------- a whole level is based on top and around a giant's dead frozen body. A real ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ giant. And it's HUGE. This giant also has facial hair (you literally walk past it's head) and it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blowing in the wind. not to mention this giant also has NOSE HAIR. AND IT'S BLOWING IN THE WIND AS WELL. The attention to detail is just.. incredible in the level design.
------------ SPOILER END ---------

The graphics are reallly good. The atmosphere and the visuals are stunning. The gameplay is fun, challenging and addicting. And the performance is great, I always have high frames and no stutters/drops. Although, sadly the game did crash twice for me in 21h of playtime, but twice in 21h is acceptable. At least it wasn't during an intense boss battle or a cutscene!

Overall, I'd really recommend trying this game. The hack n' slash combat is solid, theres a good sense of progression and you can easily find challenge around the game. There are a lot of mysteries to resolve, side quests, collectibles and whatnot. I can't say for certain, but getting this game to 100% completion is for sure gonna take a while, I'm just around halfway through the game and I feel like I missed out a lot of side content that I'd have to go back and experience.

PLUS - the game is kind off open world? well, it is very open and you can basically go back to any point you visited during the game, and there is a some sort of fast travel you unlock sometime after the early game, AND there are 0 loading screens in-between. It's VERY open and the world is very big but I wouldn't call it a true open world game. Some areas are also locked behind mechanics which are unlocked later on the story.

Anyways - this is a great game. Highly addictive, fun and challenging. Definitely a 9/10 from me. for the most parts, I could not stop playing.
And for everyone who wonders why I gave it a 9/10 and not 10/10, it's because while the story is really good, rich and interesting (and long), the voice acting can be a little bit off sometimes, characters can repeat sentences in a robotic way at certain times, Kratos's running animation is a bit wonky and the movement animations could use a bit of a polish.
I am 100% certain this is intended, but whoever voiced Kratos is just.. I can't even explain it. You gotta play to understand. Great game.

Definitely a good game, but it has some flaws.
Overall, the story is good, the core gameplay is fun. Took me around 35h to beat the main story while running around and doing some side quests as well.

Ammo is pretty scarce at first, but as soon as you unlock some upgrades to your character and bike ammo is not really an issue anymore. Overall when going through the story I had a ton of issues when NPC's would radio you constantly a second before a cutscene is being played. Sometimes just arriving to a location pops a cutscene and it also cuts out radio from other NPC's. IDK if it's a bug or just poor coding, but it definitely annoyed me that the radio would come up during fights, a second before a cutscene, at odd and weird times and what not. Sometimes it was impossible to listen to story coming through the radio because an NPC decided it's a good time to radio me while I was taking down a horde.

Stealth is almost non-existence in this game. As soon as the enemies are up to you they will not lose track of you. Only form of stealth is to use silencers or try to take the NPC's 1 by 1 with melee kills from their back but.. it's just not effective and useless since ammo isn't scarce anyways. The aiming is poor though since you have to wait for the crosshair to shrink to be accurate. Most guns aren't so accurate without focus on long range. A bit annoying but since ammo isn't an issue after the early game it's not that bad.

Overall, aside the radio issues I had a fun going through the story but don't expect TLOU level of story.
The game is fun and remarkable for it's horde fights. I'd rate it 7.5/10 overall and would recommend trying it out if it's on sale

I was able to play the whole game without any crashes or bugs (Early January)
It was fun to revisit the game on PC after playing it lastly on the PS4 few years ago.
The graphics are beyond amazing, the story is more than incredible and the gameplay was very fun and challenging.

The performance is not great though, I was on a mix of high settings getting around 70 FPS average with RTX 3070, sometimes going up towards the 100 frames, depending on the location.
The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered on the PS5 runs around 100FPS~ average, and the graphics looks quite the same on 1080p. Maybe performance could be better in the future, but nonetheless the game is playable without major performance drops or bugs. I didn't crash even once during the whole main story. The only "issue" was the time it took the game to compile the shaders on the first boot, that took around 15-20 minutes on SSD.

Overall, the port is doing it's job, the performance could have been better but I haven't had any major issues.
I'd recommend anyone who didn't play this game to try it out. It's beyond amazing and TLOU is THE BEST single player franchise i've ever played. And anyone who played this game back on PS3/4, I'd more than recommend to revisit the game. The story is a lot more immersing with the graphical update, and I have much more fun time to play shooter games on mouse/keyboard rather than a controller. This game is a must play to any zombie-apocalypse fan or anyone who appreciates a well written story and challenging gameplay.

This is my first Monster Hunter game - and I had an amazing experience playing it.
I'll start with the fact that the game has ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of content. Even without the expansion DLC (Though I'd say it's a must if you liked the game) the game has so much to do in it.

It requires a little bit of time and investment to understand the basics and get into the game, but when you learn it deeply it gets very rewarding and highly skilled. I'd definitely play other Monster Hunter games and it is by far one of the best RPG's I've played.

Totally recommended for any RPG lover who looks for a challenging boss-fighting game. And it's even better with friends!

Combat feels good, the game is challenging and fun.

Goods and bads.
Game isnt optimized.
Gameplay is quite repeative,
It gets boring after a few matches in a row.
But its fun to play few times, with breaks
or just as a squad with friends.

Alright, this game was at alpha, and of course it had ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of players dou to the high hype.
It realsed, been ok for a while, then dropped into 100-300 players daily.
Now, FTP, over 30K players, and i've seen it number 10 on top played games via steam charts.
To be honest, i've liked that game since the alpha.
I really like the new system and it works great, hope this will keep the game alive now.
I recommnd to everyone who likes strategy games to play and try out Evolve.
Anyway its free now ;)
