Don't let the playtime fool you, I have hundreds of hours of this game on Epic, PS4 and Xbox. Here's the kicker: they actually use Neversoft's old handling code for this remake, so it's exactly as good as you remember it. THPS1+2 has snappy controls, great visuals, the works. Something to thoughtlessly get addicted to, time and time again.

We'll probably never see a THPS3+4, but cherish this remake, as it shows a great game with great care put into it. It's made by people who really really love the series, and it shows.

Google "THPS Pro" to get the 3+4 levels into this as a mod, and keep on getting dunked by the pros in Online. The skill ceiling is high, but oh so worth it.

Way better now. The servers didn't use to work at all, and the game has been improved in a lot of ways.

What an utterly fantastic adventure - riveting from start to finish! Played my first campaign as Bard-Warlock (Eldritch Blast is just that good). The storyline and characters are simply unforgettable. Aside from some minor bugs, this was a great time - I can't wait to start another game and see what different choices you can do. Act 3 was the only thing that kept dragging on a bit - and I could have used some New Vegas -style ending slides. Other than that, I'd say this is the GOTY contender for 2023.

A modern masterpiece combining the intricacy of a puzzle box to a stealth experience like none other. It'll take hundreds of hours to master (I've got many, many more hours in HITMAN 2 on Steam and HITMAN 3 on Epic) but the payoff is an absolute thrill.

With the Freelancer update, it's one of the best games of all time. Whether you like to go ham and figure out the most hilarious way to get rid of a race car driver (possibly involving a rubber duck or two) or you want to master all levels Silent Assassin Suit Only style there's something for everybody here.

Favorite levels: Berlin, Miami, Sapienza, Isle of Sgail.

Tough as nails, nostalgic as heck. Having a blast. Warning: might require more thinking than you'd like. Be prepared for a lot of puzzles and memorization.

EDIT: Completed the game. They should have really streamlined most of the maze-like elements, being true to the original is fine and all but you'll spend about 3 to 4 hours just backtracking and trying to find a room you missed that is tucked in a corner somewhere. Also, the ending is disappointing and really punishing, blatantly like the original to pad the runtime of the game. Overall, I still enjoyed the experience.

Amazing hidden gem from a solo developer. I'm having a blast, it's like Vampire Survivors but with necromancy and minions!

It's not Need For Speed Underground...but it's not NFS: Heat either. I'm enjoying it, whatever it is. If you hated NFS: Heat but wanted to check out if this has the same energy as the golden oldies - it doesn't, but it scratches the same itch as those games 20 odd years ago.

I believe NFS: Heat to be the most boring racing game I ever played and for some reason this feels way better. Your mileage may vary.

My personal Game of the Year for 2022. What a wonderful blend of Slay the Spire, XCOM and Marvel. I got about 45 hours from my single playthrough - which consisted of everything from exploring the Abbey grounds to deckbuilding and combat. Some performance and release bugs and a middling story aside this has been a wonderful trip!

Highly addictive. Watch out.
