This is the equivalent of being fast paced like Call of Duty with so far the main maps being played are large open maps that glaze tanks and snipers with minimal counter play.

Sure, there are far more options in terms of taking on a tank as infantry, but good luck trying to get to them without being spotted first.

Lack of content is expected due to this not being Payday 2 after several years of added DLC, both free and paid. Though it still hits hard.

The progression is what makes redoing heists over and over like you'd usually do in Payday 2 is what really kills it, recent update helped a bit but it's still far too slow.

Apart from those problems, everything else about the game so far is a complete improvement over Payday 2, minus personal preferences.

Gunplay is a huge step up without a shadow of a doubt, there is less total enemies but they are a bit beefier without being bullet sponges, meaning much more strategic positioning and movement is required to not get mauled by just 3 SWAT.

The biggest split will be the new skill trees, you either love them or hate them. Though they have been toned down significantly, especially with the new Edge, Rush and Grit mechanic adding a new factor of your build, though so far I have felt much less restricted in what I can make, not having a full need to make a complete meta build to compete, able to invest in the skills that I know can improve my own playstyle, but with the existing skill trees that have some interesting skills, the newest bag focused tree shows the devs are still hella cooking with this system.

Bout the best CO OP horror game you can get rn.

"Labor of love" A complete joke of that in terms of the online forcing you to play a glorified single player if you don't want to be soft locked when trying to buy a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horse.




Other than that the game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing in terms of the singleplayer.

Wish there was a "mixed" review choice.

This is pretty much the first Call of Duty I actually bought for the multiplayer itself instead of just Zombies.

It's really great as a Call of Duty game.
But it's best to only expect it as a Call of Duty game, nothing else.
