I've only played the campaign + operations (PvE co-op), not really interested in PvP. The game takes a while to get good at - consistently setting yourself up to heal armor by various means. Once you get a hold of it, you're just an unstoppable towering boulder of death that turns bodies into giblets.

Love the operations, wished there was more content for it though. Only 6 missions so far, so it isn't endless replayability. 6 classes to grind to level 25 though, so that is fun for my progression-humping brain.

One of the reasons I bought a PC.

Left 4 Warhammer.

Knew nothing about the Warhammer universe and this is my first real Warhammer game. I know snippets of lore from my friend and youtube videos. Left for Dead x Warhammer with classes and progression? Sign me TF UP.

Each class has it's own set of weapons to optimize and shower chunks of flesh on the battlefield with. Every class has a few different playstyles you can spec into and humiliate the enemies of the emperor with. You can make up to 5 characters to try each class + 1. You can drip out each character in garments you earn or buy from the shop.

Recently played with random folks who roleplayed - one Ogryn who spoke "like dum dum ehehe" and one Zealot who put real life cultists to shame.

If you're looking to absolutely annihilate of hordes of enemies for the glory of the emperor, this is it.

This game is one of the main reasons I bought a PC.

Every mission has it's own dark story, which is fun to learn about. It makes going into it a bit more thrilling and you get a general sense of what to expect and how to prepare. Player controlled teammate AIs are actually pretty competent, you just have to micromanage them a bit more than you think sometimes - the moment you relax on this, you feel the consequences.

1) The gameplay?

There are many ways to approach each mission which is actually fun to try out. Go in guns blazing with lethal force and annihilate everything in sight? Fun, but you'll get a low score and risk getting one tapped in the head for being exposed. Take your time to plan a route, systematically clear areas, and do the objectives? Fun and rewarding. The real fun is in non-lethal though. Hear me out, non-lethal isn't as fun as just head popping and shotgun blazing, but the challenge you get from successfully arresting all suspects (slightly) unharmed? Few things beat that. On harder missions, planning the best route is even more important, not only do you have to systematically clear areas - you often need to deny areas with door wedges to prevent flanks while clearing. Bean-bag a suspect in an open area? Now you have to either arrest him before clearing the area or risk him one tapping you while you look away. Decisions and priorities.

2) The arsenal?

B-E-A-U-Tiful. Love me some variety, want more. ARs, SMGs, Shottys, Pistols, Beanbags, and Pepperballs. Some guns feel similar, but of course, you're generally single-shot firing or doing volleys of single shots. You can even mod them to look different.

3) The graphics?

Amazing graphics and really amazing detailing of the mission maps. Love the gore, especially when I "accidentally" shoot a suspect in the head with a lethal shotgun.

4) Multiplayer?

Tried it once, matchmaking with randos - they were really good and we cleared missions with high scores easily. Playing this with friend is the most fun - I get into it and start yelling "GET ON THE FKING GROUND, SHOW ME YOUR HANDS" too often. Just really wished we could add bots into co-op.

Overall, would highly recc!

This game has taken my soul. The learning curve is so steep, but you gotta love it. Skill prevails. But, still see hackers every so often...

Hits the spot every week though.
