This falls somewhere between the arcade style stuff like Ace Combat, and the full flight sims like DCS, and I love it.

This could have been a great game. The ingredients are there, but they're buried under piles of bugs, crashes, and ♥♥♥♥♥ design decisions.

Gameplay: Plenty of fun times killing bugs, bots, and your friends! All good long as the samples make it back.

Needs plenty of work still, the game is unfortunately full of bugs of the programming sort.

The anti-cheat really needs to go, it doesn't stop anything more than casual attempts at cheating, atop throwing false positives at legit players.

As if that wasn't bad enough, the account linking ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is a deal breaker. Should the requirement for that be changed, I'll flip this to positive, but until then, neg review and no more helldiving for me.

Edit: Sony has reversed their decision on account linking. Positive review it is. Now we just need to get them to ditch the crap anti-cheat.

Edit 2: Over a year in, still full of bugs, though mostly different ones since the last review. Quality of patches can be rather hit or miss, overall game is good, still.

Already showing better performance than the first one, with larger maps and better graphics.

The combat is immensely satisfying!
