Do I recommend you play Mass Effect 2? Yes. Do I recommend you buy it on steam? No.

EA is a ♥♥♥♥ company that won't let you buy the DLC if you buy the game on steam. It's currently only available on Origin. So if you want to play the DLC, don't buy it on steam, it's a waste of money. Buying it on Origin is also a waste of money as it's something like $55 for the game and DLC when Legendary is like $80 for 3 games with all dlc (except for ME1).

TL;DR Hade is a lot of fun and I highly recommend it.

More than a few hours into Hades, I've thoroughly enjoyed it. There's a lot of content and tons of ways to play, odds are one of the weapons will mesh with how you want to play. Plus the way it handles choice is quite good too, you'll be presented with numerous options, each upgrade will give you three choices, you'll often have 2 or more chambers of the chamber you just cleared, each weapon has different versions that alter how they play. It all comes together make moving through each run engaging.

The story is also quite nice, the dialogue is great too, and there is a ton of it. You can go for runs and runs without hearing the same boss intro dialogue, or NPC conversation. Plus in true Supergiant fashion, they've got an absolutely killer soundtrack by Darren Korb, who has knocked it out of the park.

I absolutely recommend picking it up.
