probably one of the most solid RPGs I have honestly ever played.

So heres my real review of Fallout 4 starting with the pros:

-awesome environment
-dynamic weather is neat
-love the new armor/power armor system
-combat is great and responsive
-minor bugs that can be ironed out over time
-looks great
-has a world you can really immerse yourself into
-I like the new enemy system a lot
-The new command menu for companions isnt a pain in the ass either
-the factions are pretty sweet
-the new looting system is fast and helpful

Cons:
-Im not very fond of the story at all "go locate your son after he was taken from you" really? thats all you have bethesda? Another damn find your family story?
-No dialogue. The new pick four dialogue options suck, seriously stop trying to mimic Bioware.
-The buildings you are allowed to enter are severely limited, the amount they gave us would have been cool in 2009
-No skill system; I honestly thought I would be able to get over this one but I just cant. The perksystem they gave us is just a dumbed down version so people who have never played a fallout game found it to be less intimidating
-doesnt really feel like an RPG, yes there is quests, rewards, loot, and a vast world. However if you fill that world with uninteresting characters is just feels smaller and a lot less diverse
-No real player choice, I loved the karma system, I liked that I can see what the people of the wasteland thought of me and my actions will come up later on in the game as either a unique chat option or the people will have small talk about it.
-difficulty isnt just about bullet sponge bosses and swarms of enemies.
-the base building feature is completely lacking and unoriginal
-At times the game just feels rushed, I would have gladly waited till 2016 to get the game I wanted rather than a game to shut me up.
-Weapons appear out of the void, yes that means there is no weapon holstering animations.

Conclusion:
fallout 4 is a good game, but its not great.I just feel like it was just overhyped and didn't really change anything besides shooting mechanics. Honestly in my opinion it was a complete step backwards from New Vegas. I dont know how they managed to mess this up but they did. the fact that I have to wait for the COMMUNITY to fix all of their mistakes is a little sad.
