A golden example of games in the roguelike genre this game provides a lot of branching paths, tons of weapons to choose within any given run, and a seemingly endless well of content updates. I had only played a bit before getting a Steam Deck, and with that the love I had for the game shot up. A perfect game for being on the go, but a genuinely amazing metroidvania roguelike that will challenge you and make you play different ways to see everything it has to offer.

If you're looking for a game that feels like an MMO's late game: the fun social elements, the lack of real story but still getting some progression, and things like owning a custom home and random events, then Tower Unite is perfect for you.

The game doesn't feel like it's necessarily built around any particular loop. You want to make some money during the random events and then blow that cash in the casino? Yeah, that's totally viable. Maybe play some arcade games! Hone your skills and top the leaderboards, like the arcades of old. Or just keep making cash to upgrade your (admittedly very nice) condo.

It's certainly no deep iceberg experience, but what it does have, it touts proudly. All parts are more than competent and it's genuinely a great social game to enjoy casually while chatting with people. I definitely see myself coming back to this often, to see what's new, or just checking in to see who's around.

The randomness in the cards and the difficulty makes you think about every move you make and what you may have a chance to pull off with each of the (Now 4) characters. You are free to play as slow or as quickly as you wish with no time limit, allowing you to really plan out your attacks which will inevitably fall apart and you will die more times than you want to, but every time it will feel fair somehow.

Basically Zoo Tycoon but improved and modernized. The animals look incredible and are greatly detailed with a lot of careful consideration for management. Performance is good, but could be better, so hopefully that gets patched in the near future.

Perhaps the greatest stealth game ever made. It requires you to have an in depth understanding of the mechanics and maps to do well, but you can also devolve every level to pure chaos. Each level can hold your hand and teach you the map and what is allowed and show you the limits, or you can do everything completely alone with hundreds of ways to kill each target. It is amazing the amount of content packed into each level. Definitely worth every penny.

If you want to kill bullets with bullets, and sometimes with other stuff that's not bullets, why are you still reading? Buy this. Seriously. Do it.
