People are often offended when they buy their cat a present, and it spends more time with the box than the present.

I feel that Bethesa made this present and all yall care about the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ box. You are sad that it doesn't have seamless loading screens like NMS. You are sad that most planets are empty in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ space. You are sad that base building isn't as robust as Ark or as useful as Satisfactory. You are sad that it doesn't run at 4k ultra 240 hz like Valorant. You are sad because you started a collectathon that happened to have the same mini-game.

Maybe, just MAYBE, you all are losing your passion for a game because people are telling you not to enjoy it. Maybe, just MAYBE, you stopped yourself from exploring because you found nothing on an uninhabited planet. Maybe, just MAYBE, public sentiment for this game is what kept you from thinking you enjoyed the game. Maybe, just MAYBE, your friends jumped on this bandwagon to ♥♥♥♥ on a game they never played. And maybe, JUST MAYBE, you are at a different point in your life, meaning that if this game didn't give you the dopamine hit you wanted like the first time you played skyrim over a decade ago.

I played it early so I didn't hear this public outcry. I just played the game and enjoyed it. The modding scene is great, the environment is great, there are areas worth exploring, there are neat side quests, and the main story is far more interesting that "Bad guy bad".

People put their hopes on what this game was going to be. People championed that this game was going to be the master of all trades. I find it to be the jack of all trades and that Bethesda did what they promised. I'm rocking a middle spec rig and had ZERO issues playing this game.

You all forget how modded your recent playthroughs of skyrim are? You forget that Skyrim enabled devs to make a mod that was so well loved that it got spun off into its own game with 96% positive reviews? You forget that you walk through vast expanses of Skyrim and Oblivion with LARGE GAPS of nothing?

If you don't like something about this game, pony up and change it. You wish there was more stuff, add it in. You want a better base building experience, then make it better. I say you because jack ass nay sayers became a bandwagon of hate which stopped people who were passionate about modding do it. Public outcry has stopped the game from being what it could be for you in the near future.

This review isn't for the people who are on the fence or played the game, rather a message to the people who though the game was "unplayable" because they were to busy looking at the box than playing with the toy.
