Played for about 3 hours and outside of a couple small glitches it was really fun.
Only major complaint would be big weapons don't feel like they hit hard enough for as slow as they are and might be considred "clunky", but the straight sword and poignard felt about right for how fast they swung. Dodging felt decent and shields feel useless without a parry mechanic. Also noticed when interacting with an object and the character responds unless you hit the confirm button again it doesn't go away and you can't target anything, little frustrating when enemies pop out near signs.
Platforming was a little intimidating until I found out I was going the wrong direction up the silo when going the correct way the platforms were actually spaced out properly.
Overall if you enjoy Soulslike games and are looking for a new style to sink your teeth into I do recommend this, there's enough Unique mechanics for it to stand on it's own and there is bound to be at least a good jump scare in there to get your heart racing. Looking forward to the full game.

A fantastic game weighted on your every decision. The combat is smooth and you feel every hit. The characters are so well done that you care when you mess up and lose one of them. With the decisions you make having an impact on what happens to the people around you this game will have you going back through the story to try out new decisions to see how it changes the story.

This is fantastic game that seems pretty straight forward, kill all the aliens coming at you, but on top of trying to stop the hordes of aliens coming at you there are also weakness' to each boss that make them easier. I have had many fun hours of this and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tower defense like game with lots of alien death.
