I don't review games often but this was a masterpiece of exploration. while many modern games focused towards exploration use numbers and graphics to convince you to explore, Outer Wilds gives you a small solar system, which is beautifully designed, and then turns it into a puzzle. You will not get hundreds of hours of exploration in the Outer Wilds. There isn't millions of randomly generated unique planets to explore. However if you are a fan of exploration and like the sound of a game that makes you put the story together from scattered pieces, then the Outer Wilds is a game I cannot recommend more to you.

Early Access Review
It has been 5 years since my initial review of this game, and in that time I put almost 100 more hours into it. Each new update always had me returning for more, and with the final release I can safely say, this is not only my favorite VR game, It's just one of my favorite games. If you want truly immersive and satisfying combat in VR, you'd have a tough time finding better. Now that amazing combat has only been further expanded upon by having an entire dungeon delving progression system to work with, Each upgrade to your equipment or powers feels truly amazing.

I had been told an awful lot about A Hat in Time from a friend who was following it during its early days. I being my usual idiotic self didn't pick it up when it came out because I don't usually touch games that I have felt were overly hyped up to me. In no way was this a let down to the excitement she had for it. I started the game to find myself hit with a huge wave of nostalgia the second I was given control of the character. I might not be one of the people old enough to remember the days playing Mario 64 that I often see this game compared to but I spent my very early childhood playing Mario Sunshine, then when I got a bit older after the Wii came out I played Super Mario Galaxy, and then it's sequal not to long after that. This game is an adorable childish platformer that will draw you in not just with the gameplay, but the beautifully designed levels, the absolutely stunning soundtrack, the amazingly charming dialoge, the unique and interesting characters, the wonderful exploration, and the amazing replayability. This game has honestly been one of the best games I've played in years and it reignited my love for platformers.
