Everyone should play this game at least once in their life to see how you do Immersion, choice, storytelling and character differentiation. Still on a whole other level than many games released today and thorouhjly enjoyable. Install the mods though. Always install the mods.

First of all - not since Final Fantasy 8 has an in-game card game been as good as Gwent.
That said, Rogue Mage is very much Gwent light. And while single set matches make for a faster gameplay more aligned with the rogue aspects of the game it can get shallow fairly fast despite an abundance of unlockables. After about 4 runs I settled into a groove that was barely altered until I finished the - sadly very limited - story mode.
It's very much a €10 game.
And at the same tima, Gwent itself is free, The Witcher 3 is readily available for less than this, and Thronebreaker offers a more diverse Gwent with a better story.
It's still fun, and I'll just about recommend it. But you need to know what you're getting.

I've played the original trilogy several times. This makes them feel the way they felt when they were first released again. Good modernisation. Clearly a labour of love from the developers.

Fun game when it was released that still holds up and still gets content. Recommended and well worth a purchase

I don't like rogue-likes
I like story heavy games

Somehow
I also really like this game. Get it, spend too much time on it. Love it. Hate it.

Seriously - this is really good people.

Definite trial and error game.
It looks great and the art style works throughout. The animation looks like you're literally watching a cartoon without hindering gameplay.
Recommended, but only for the patient

This one definitely stands the test of time. Worth it just for Stephen Merchant's prattling :D

Amazing stuff. Expect to be touched like you wouldn't believe a game could.

While in need of some graphic modding, Vice City remains the right way to do open world games. Every task you need to complete is fully built around a story. Optional tasks that give rewards are doable without dragging out too long, and everything else is just optional and can be ignored if you're not a completist.
Add to this the memorable characters, great (ridiculous) storytelling, and an amazingly good soundtrack... And you get simply one of the best games ever made.
