Worth the while!

qop is a neat little puzzle game similar to the ice sliding puzzles we all despised in the second Pokémon generation. The game intself is quite easy and only two or three of the 50 levels took me longer than a few attempts.

On later levels the game introduces two new features. Teleporting blocks and blocks that alter your path by 90 degrees. They are easy to understand and are later combined to create complexer puzzles.

After all it's a fun game to kill about an hour for a pretty cheap price.

PS: You gain four achivements for each stage you finish and some for clicking every button and the logo in the main menu, don't forget these and make sure you leave the game on a little longer to collect all four Steam Trading Cards since you'll be done faster than the drops. ;)

Way better then the first one, but still space for improvement.

Well, I exaggerated a little on this game. I did every single side mission, race, brawl and collected all the feathers there are hidden on the maps.

Assassins Creed II sets place in Italy around the end of middle age. You as Desmond slip into Ezio Auditore da Firenze. He's no well trained assassin like Altaïr was. He's just a teenage boy out of a noble family how had to watch his father and brother beeing executed after they tried to expose a conspiracy against them and the city of Florence. In order to protect his family and avenge his loss, he trains to become an assassin under the guidance of his uncle Mario.

He did not choose to be an assassin and he basically doesn't know anything about it at the start of the game. It feels pretty convenient to accompany him on his journey. You learn from different teachers you'll encounter and get new gadgets build by no different then Leonardo da Vinci. Also you are incidentally rebuilding your familiy villa with the money you earn to get access to more upgrades and better prices and earn some tax income from it.

The story of the second game is more interesting then part one, the character is more pleasant and the gamplay feels way more smooth. I played the whole game with a low budget gamepad and on English. Grabbing ledges or quickly climb a wall can lead to some annoyance for the limitations of the PC port. But you climb way faster then in Assassin's Creed 1 and you move around more swiftly. Even the fighting got better. It's still to easy but you can't block or counter attack every attack this time, not even with the best armor, weapon and equipment. There's a variety of enemies now that can't simply be blocked or have to be disarmed before [https://gfycat.com/WebbedLimpAfghanhound]. The game also has a lot new move sets, assassination animations and kill finishers.

The only drawbacks are the bugs that occurs and some of the more annoying missions like races and chasing of targets due to the movement problems, by which I do not mean tailing people in secret which I really liked, but targets that spot you and run across the rooftops jinking away from you. Second there are missions on which you shall assassinate your target in silence without alerting the guards, that usually circle in groups of two or more making this hella frustrating. The bugs where minor but still weary from time to time. The same problem with the movement on PC appeals to the targeting system. I more then once stabbed the two civilians behind me instead of the guard right in front of me or missed the actual target for his guard and such. And you can get into a lot of trouble taunting the heavy armored unblock-able guard instead of the swift one while in a fight with more then five different enemies. Also the civilians used to spawn out of nowhere right in you face, which looked kinda funny and lead to some confusion every now and then [https://gfycat.com/QualifiedTenseAdeliepenguin].

But the story, the fun gameplay and the well aged look of Assassin's Creed II let you forget its penalties.

If the first game didn't hook you, you should give this one a shot!

This is game is completely weird. I love it!

This is a classic point'n'click adventure stacked with a bunch of nonsense and hella weird riddles.
Some of the hints the protagonists give you are pretty strait forward while sometimes you have to think pretty far outside the box. The main plot point is that you and your friends have to save the world from an evil, mutated tentacle by traveling through time. You can operate in different timelines, change the future and send items to your friends to solve their puzzles, which is a neat feature.

Completing the whole story took me around 4.5 hours. But I gotta mention that I googled twice. First time I just screwed to use a VCR, because last time I used one was ten years ago. The second time I just couldn't see the wood for the trees. I had the item I needed right since the start and was just not able to combine the right components.

After eight hours I managed to get all achievements in the game and find all the secret dialogues and easter eggs. And believe me, the game is full of such. Brilliant character design, nice art style and neat story telling.

If you like hard point'n'clicks, you gotta play this!

Just as good as the first game with some tweaks here and there.

I played through this game around five times now. The replay value is even greater than in Dishonored 1, because you have a lot more choices and a lot more factors that may differ the ending you'll get.

At the beginning of the game you can decide if you like to play as Corvo the protagonist of the first game or his daughter empress Emily and if you want to play with or without supernatural powers. There's a new set of powers for Emily and in "New Game +" you can choose from both characters powers in one run.

They improved the bonecharm system to a point where you have the possibility to play some pretty insane skill sets by combining charms and powers.

The fighting feels even better then in the first game and you can move around more freely even bigger maps. Exploring the world of dishonored offers a deep look into the lore of the games and the ties between what happend in the first game and its DLCs.

I think, I squeezed out every drop of this game during my runs by getting all achivements available and still playing through NG+ another time. Big recommendation!

Funny FPS to kill some time without really having to think.

If you like shooting hordes of enemies with big guns while dropping immature puns, this is the game for you. The Story is not that original and the mechanics aren't that fancy. But I had 10 hours fun and only one part really pissed me off. I played on normal difficulty and used mostly the normal handgun. Only for the bossfights I picked up the railguns and an RPG. On of the bigger fights was so hard, that I quit and didn't play for almost a year. But after picking it back up, sitting straight and trying like 5 times, I did it and played 'till the end.

There is a underwater part right before the end, that is kinda annoying as well, but it is rather short.

You can have quite a good time, with this game and I'll probably pick it up again to try the "Insane" difficulty, if I have the urge for some brainless shooting and badass big talking.

Don't do it!

I played this game, while waiting for an upload to finish.
The storymode is total bullcrap with sloppy mechanics, hard controls and annoying background music.
I like the joke behind the steam mode, but this game is not worth spending time on.

So I played it for twenty minutes, left it open to collect the three card drops and uninstalled it.

I would love to have the "PC Master Race"-Foil Badge, but ~10$ per card? ♥♥♥♥ this!

Well, this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...

To start this: Don't buy this game if you enjoyed Gothic 1 or 2 or 3, don't buy this game if you liked any other Piranha Bytes game. Don't buy this game if you like RPGs in general. Don't buy this game if you like games at all. Just don't!

I played it after patching it with the latest community patch and I played in german.

The game starts by putting the former hero in a scenario, which is just plain ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. He acts like he never has in the previous game and does just stupid things. Your old friends don't trust you anymore. You lost your reputation.

The missions you do go from farming plants from dead animals to killing the wife of a merchant, because she slept with his best friend.

By accident I found some weird guy, that offered me some armor if I find three parts of metal. I found two of these already while exploring the poorly designed new version of Myrtana. So pretty much new to this world I had the second best armor of them all. Shortly after this I found a sword that made my damage output overpowered as well.
Following the main quests I searched for people without any hints given and escort them around the map. Pretty frustrating!

So I am strong, armored and rich but all I do is courier service.
I played the whole game in 15 hours, felt like I achieved nothing. The story doesn't provide an incentive at all and dosen't make sense after all.

While I had no problem killing hordes of orcs or humans at the same time one single mage could easily destroy me with one or two spells. Not to talk about the "endboss", that I only beat after setting my HP, DEX and STR to 1000 via console after completely titling. Even after cheating I died quite a few times and had no fun at all fighting this boss. And I played through the Gothic 3 main game quite a lot and am pretty good at using the games mechanics and limitations.

So: Stay away from this game and don't even play it when receiving it as a gift. Thank me later!

Pretty easy puzzle game

The game is pretty easy. You simply click through each level and try to reach the goal. Sometimes you have to hit the events in precise timing, but that's not that hard.

I played through the game in around 1.5 hours and it took me around another half hour to get the missing achievements hidden among the levels.

If you want the achivements, feel free to play this. If you want a good riddle or puzzle game, don't.

A short platformer with a wonderful narrator

This game is neither hard nor long, but it's kinda hard to stop playing until you made it completely through.

"thomas was alone" is basicly just a platformer, where you navigate different rectangles, with unique abilities, around the levels. Each rectangle has its role in solving the game and you have to think outside the box to get to the end.

The story is told by a splendid narrator, which makes the game much more enjoyable.

If you like riddles, platformers or good narrated stories, this is definitely a game for you!

It's a good game, not always fair, but still fun

To get started: LIMBO looks amazing. In its own way. It has a simple black and white theme and works with abstract shapes, light and shadows. You basically run through a forest full of hostile creatures and traps. The first enemy you encounter is a giant spider that freaked me out. The graphics are simple but in combination with the illumination and the music it completely soaked me in and let me feel the thrill of being hunted.

It took me around five hours to finish the whole game, just because I have been stuck at one puzzle for quite some time. I had the right idea how to solve it but lacked the skill to hit the jump in time. I played with keyboard and after trying a Gamepad once, I have to admit, it was a mistake.

I played it twice now, but couldn't hit the achivement for getting through the game in one session with less then five deaths.

If you like 2D Jump'N'Run, a good thrill and minor physics riddles, LIMBO is a game for you. BUT bring a controller!
