Was really good took me a little over 15 hours to beat. 2nd one is now out and Ill definitely be picking that one up at some point. Going to run through it on new game a few times now that I beat it.

I personally find the game extremely fun. Currently the game is a buggy mess however and ive had times where I crash many games in a row.

Its best to probably wait a bit for this game to be fixed

Runs fine on my 970 on their recommended settings.
So far I like it the invasion mode is fun and standard multiplayer is what youd expect.
The smg quick swap to pistol feels very nice.
The weapons they let me try all fit within their categories from what I experienced. I didnt notice any insane laser accuracy weapons but I could have just missed them.
The netcode seems ok I only noticed one time that I died when I thought I shouldnt have but it was a fraction of a second around a corner so they could have shot my toe or something.

Having played some more invasion is ok until someone gets pushed back to spawn. Steamrolling is a huge problem ive done it and had it done to me but once someone has been pushed back to spawn thats where they will stay.

The gameplay is some of the most fun I have ever had in a video game. The story is amazing and the quest missions are very fun (though I wish there were more.) Every major update can give you at least a few hours of fun but the game does have some pretty glaring problems.

The modding system can be confusing even after looking at all in game resources and will usually require looking it up online.
The grind can be insane and the recent grind with railjack is equally as annoying if not worse because while fun you get caught replaying the same exact missions over and over in a small attempt to get gear good enough to advance a single mission node with most of them being way to similar to each other compared to the regular game.
When a new kind of game mode is added into the game any new interesting gear will be locked behind it even if the vast majority of people hate the mode which makes playing the game for that one item feel more like a chore at that point. Which brings me to the point of nerfing.
DE loves to nerf all the ways people make the grind easier. If you find a way to make a task that you know you are going to have to waste many hours to do very easy DE will likely nerf it. While im all for not letting people walk away from their computers and still advance in the game when you have drops with chances that are so low it might take you 10s of hours to get your going to want a way to make it easy or youll just give up.

In general I do find this game extremely fun but nowadays I play the game complete the content they just added and quit till the next time more is added. Unless you like to experiment or take pictures once you unlock everything their isnt a whole lot to do, and once you get to that point and go through a few new big additions you realize that the content DE has always has the same issue of replay value. Youll play it once get through it and drop the game.
But for a person that has never played the game before their is a lot of content to play through until you hit that point itll take you a while and I believe for a game that is free you will get many many hours of enjoyment. Ive now hit a wall i wish i never would have but I would say i enjoyed every second of the way there.

Games nice and fun on its own but after you finish the game mods will keep it fresh for quite a while and this is all without adding friends. I played with my brother and it made the game much more fun picking out builds we thought would go well together to fight bosses.
