This game is the perfect in-depth hockey simulation game for any hockey league you can think of. You can be the GM and coach of whatever team you want, in pretty much any league in existence. Perfect for me as someone that loves team-building in sports games. With the workshop and mods/customized databases either on steam or forums such as the blue line, there are so many possibilities and abilities to keep the game up to date from year to year. Definitely worth buying. I'm addicted.

2020 edit: Over 2 years since my original review, and the community keeps helping make this game better and better. from databases, to facepacks, to all other mods and workshop content, this game is great and made greater by the dedicated playerbase. i sink so many hours into playing this while watching videos, shows, streams, and movies. with a nice update coming soon tm, this is well worth the full price, but is often on sale for only 5 dollars. can't really justify not picking it up at that price if you like hockey and/or gm sims
