Im going to give this a positive review just because I know that they will fix most of the issues, however, in its current state as of 2 days into launch, I cannot recommend it, game was unplayable for around 6 hours at 3 different occasions, there is no single player offline option, leveling your player and your weapons is incredibly time consuming, and unlike payday 2, you do not get XP for just completing heists, you can only get XP from doing a ton of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ side tasks such as completing different missions once, then 10 times, on different difficulties loud AND quiet, both track individually, and do not stack, weapon leveling is quick for the first 4-6 levels, and then beyond then it is INCREDIBLY SLOW, I can imagine this will change due to the amount of overwhelmingly negative feedback on the issue, the perk system is in a sense worse, but I would say, if you are new to the payday franchise, it is easier to understand and a lot more beginner friendly, no insane random builds you can do, but there are still some decently fun builds you can do, so overall, the gameplay loop is VERY enjoyable, same as any payday game, the progression and servers are ♥♥♥♥ with no option for offline, the enemy AI is a bit buggy at times, but it is still quite decent and it feels like the enemies actually work together, there is 8 heists at launch, which is double what Payday 2 released with, give the game 2-5 months before buying and I think it will be in a MUCH better state.

Love the game, stays true to the first game in more than 1 way and still has that same lovable atmosphere to it, and I get that it is in early access, however, it is said to be about 8 hours minimum to finish the game, and I had it done in 6, and I count that as all map pieces and all gordos, along with logs, and I have spent just under an extra 2 hours getting treasure pods, dont get me wrong, it is still a great game and I do recommend it, but it is in early access so there is still content to wait on, so if you are expecting more than 15 hours of content in its current state, I apologise but you wont get it, but it is still a very worth while purchase. Gaming Style oh yea.
