I finally decide to blast off, take four big rips off of my pen, ghost all of them, and beamed the ♥♥♥♥ up to the fractal-verse. Instead of the usual beings I see, which are like Keith Haring art come to life, my beings were myself and Mac Miller. Mac was dancing and performing, while the other me stood (floated?) next to him. Other me said, “Hey man, I’ve been talking to Mac and he says you’re kinda hard on your MIL. That’s not you place, and you could learn a lot from her. You need to bond with her because she’s your daughter’s grandmother. Ask her if she’ll take a yoga class (she’s always talking about her yoga classes) with you and teach you about death (she’s a hospice nurse).” After that, other me and Mac shot out into the fractal-verse and I spent what felt like days floating without my body, diving deeper into the Mandelbrots. When I came back, I wrote down everything I could remember as quickly as I could and went for a long walk to process my experience.

in high school, I was dared to play "gay chicken", which is where two straight guys pretend to be gay, and the first one to chicken out loses. You and I are both really stubborn, and neither one of us wanted to lose. We've been married 14 years and we run a bed and breakfast in Vermont with out adopted daughter. If you don't chicken out soon, I'm going to start to suspect that you're actually gay
