I love gamers like this where you start minimal and over the course of quests and such you get a faster boat, more efficient fishing, etc... well done sirs.

1300 hours played on this account alone. New World has mad potential, but AGS has no idea what they are doing.

Today they allowed tons of players to get weeks ahead of others because they can't implement new mechanics without ripple effects across the game.

They just introduced Mutated Expeditions (mythic dungeons) and the currency obtained in them upgrades your the gearscore of items you choose to upgrade.

AGS has turned off the market, gold trading, and a number of other systems over the past few months to try and get a hold on the duping gold issues that plagued the economy, but none of that compares to the advantage they gave players today.

The mutated dungeons were supposed to only provide people with AT BEST 14,480 umbral shards in a week.

Because they didnt change on mine (and many other servers) players were able to run the mutated dungeons on the highest levels they were able to reach that week, again.

So, if you ran mutated level 10 and got bronze 10 times you got 40,000 shards ... on silver you got 50,000 .. or on gold you got 60,000....

AGAIN, the max in a week is 14,480 shards and they just let some players get more than 4x that many in a single day.

There is no way to roll back this advantage they gave to players, and therefore, they just killed their own game once kids realize how much more powerful other players in full 625 pvp gear are going to be in wars.
