The best game I've played in years.

I’ve always found realistic tactical shooters very intriguing but I’ve never found the time to play any of them, the closest I’ve gotten was Enlisted. I finally decided to get Insurgency Sandstorm since it’s been at the top of my list. This game blew my mind.

Somehow this game pulls off being a methodical tactical shooter that focuses on a more realistic playstyle while also having fast paced gameplay that keeps you hooked. Every match is different and the experience you have in each one is almost unrecognizable from the last. There are a range of guns and customization options for them although I would love to see more added. The maps have beautiful environments and are built almost perfectly. There is definitely a lack of gamemodes but each one that are in the game are incredibly fun and different from the last.

All in all it’s an amazing game! 10/10

One of the only games that I’ve preordered that I got my money’s worth out of.

Whether it be jumping from rooftop to rooftop with some of the most fluid free running I’ve seen in any game on the market all the way to slicing zombies heads off and jumping over stunned enemies to drop kick another. Everything about the gameplay is incredibly smooth and enjoyable beyond belief. The story is quite lackluster at times, although playing the different side quests and finding out how the virus spread from Harran through the world is very fun and gives you a lot of incentive to discover the history of the epidemic. All and all I recommend it 100%. It is one of the best gaming experience I’ve had in years.
