Can't attest to the original game but I had a blast with this game, it managed to keep me hooked throughout the story while the game play kept me engaged with new twists. I loved it

Fun game with a unique concept

Great DLC expanding upon the universe of the game. Great additions to both lore and gameplay would reccomend

A fresh instance of a game actually being crafted with love and care, so many interactions to discover almost like a real D&D game. RPG mechanics are really well put together, and story portions are well crafted with a way to hook you in even for the smallest side quests(which are for the most part not fetch quests).

10/10 would 100% recommend.

I can not tell you how much I love this game, over the last 100 hours I have fell in love with persona 5's gameplay and cast. The gamplay is so stylized and fun with joker giving a lot of varity to combat. The cast and the social sim aspact are the best part though, I finished the game actually sad thatI am never going to see the phantom thives again.

10/10, 2nd best game I ever played with bloodborne just a tiny bit above it

Expectations
As a massive fromsoft fan I had pre-ordered this game.

Story
Coming from the DS series I expected not much in terms of story and compared to DS the story was much more clear, though still not a "tell dont show" kind of nerrative. You still must read item descriptions to get the full picture but unlike previous souls games you can easily enjoy the story without them. 9/10

Gamplay
Combat is solid with diverse build options. Where elden ring differes is with the skill system while games like Dark souls 1 and 3 did have weapon arts, Elden ring takes those systems to the next level making those skills a core part of the gameplay loop. Ashs of War are diverse, flexible and most importently fun!

The open world is rich with intersting encounters, locations and loot making you want to explore the world.

Bosses offer a good challange while being a bit easier becuse the open world leaves you overleveled a lot of the time.

Multiplayer
Multiplayer in Elden Ring consists of Co-Op with normal fromsoft PVP.

The new Ashs of War skill system lands to a much more fun system of PVP. Although as always some weapons rule the meta you can still expirement with new weapons and skills without worrying too much about the meta.

Invasions in Elden Ring only occur when you are in co-op so invasions are allways 2v1 landing to a more challenging invasion procces.

Elden Rings co-op suffers from one huge problem, even though the game is a massive world full of bosses, mini bosses and encountes, any mini boss or boss will end the session of co-op leading to needing to re-summon every few encountes.

NG+X Scaling
The NG+ scaling is similler to other souls games giveing bosses more hp and dmg and giving a great challenge. Overall if you liked the scaling in previous games you will like it here.

I had heard many praises of NieR:A and so after seeing on sale decided sure I'll give it a go. tl;dr Loved it!

NieR's story is one that is exprienced through 5 main endings, the story is very good and I won't go into much detal as to not spoil anything. Know that the full story is spread acrossthe 5 endings and you must play all of them to get the full story. 9/10

Combat is fluid with diverse build options, cool skills and on the fly chip (passive skills) switching for max flexiblity.

In some segments you will be required to hack which is like a mini game where you are in a bullet hell. these segnebts are the lowest part of combat but are still good in their own way.

Bosses are powerful while having very cool designs.

This game does not have NG+ scalings rather you will play 3 full playthorughs the first 2 are the same for the most part but from diffrent charcters prespective while the other one is a full on continuation which end in 1 of 3 endings. While route B is like route A it still has it's moments of unique combat and feels overall great.

(Got the game from a friend of mine while it was on sale thus the recived for free tag)
Looked for Souls-Like games to fill the hole in soul from DS and BB. Eventually, saw that this game was from bandai so was quite excited about it.

Coming from the DS series I expected not much in terms of story and well compared to DS the story was very clear and extremly cheesy. 7.5/10

Multiplayer in Code Vein consists of Co-Op only so give up on the PVP.
As well as Co-Op being almost completly dead but some people from the discord.

The MP itself works quite well though.

Saddly unlike the DS series NG+ makes most bosses go from hard to unfair as you get 1 shot by most attacks from bosses which forces you to use specific skills to even stand a chance(I'm looking at you gank fight).
