Boy, oh, boy, Rimworld! What a game! For being developed by such a small team, the list of things to do in this game is extensive, not to mention the workshop support which adds even more flavor to the game. While certain aspects may be tedious, your experience never lacks a sense of progression. The game play is addictive and over the last week I've played for days on end, unfortunately.

Cool game

I really enjoy this game.

As you can tell by my total hours played, I've been around the block. I've united all Northern, Southern, and Eastern Germans under one flag, I've established Japan as the master of the Pacific and entire East Asian coast, I've realized Latin America hegemony and pushed the United States into the footnotes of history. Bourgeois dictatorships in Central America and an entirely communist European continent.

That's what I love about this game. The possibilities of game play are literally endless.

Victoria 2 is greater than the sum of it's parts.
Calling it just a "game" almost doesn't do it justice.
This piece of software is imagination itself.

This game is alright. The original is better.

The first thing I noticed when first playing this game is how different it is from Insurgency Source and even the Day of Infamy spin off (which I recommend more than Insurgency: Sandstorm), this game is much faster paced and plays more like an FPS that you'd play on an xbone or a playstation. So if you're coming straight from Insurgency source, Sandstorm may take a little bit to get used to.
Unfortunately poor optimization makes the game very choppy at times, to the point that it is a pain to play. Finding PvP matches, especially competitive ones, is also a pain (before writing this, I waited 15+ minutes for a ranked game before giving up).
PvE, however, is quite fun and is easy to find a match. But a limited number of maps means there's a good chance you can play the same map twice or three times in a row and the lack of workshop support doesn't really help, which to me is a huge disappointment.
But overall, it isn't bad.

It turns out while we were preoccupied with the release of this game, Crystal Pepsi was re-released to the market. I just thought that was pretty cool. This game is still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ though.

Early Access Review
10/10 Golf with your Friends is honestly worthy of GOTY. Here's why;

Music: The music is mind-blowing for lack of better words. It is capable of giving you a wide arrange of fealings from happiness to legitimate depression and agony. I would absolutely recommend turning it up to max as you enjoy/scream through your game of Mini-Golf with your friends. The composer has truely accomplished a feat with the one repeating song that plays throughout the entire game.

Physics: The physics in this game are surprisingly realistic and fair. That is, unless you change them so you're on the moon. Which brings me to my next point.

Options/Customization: Do you not like your white ball? Change it to hot pink! Not like that you can't collide with your friends? Make it so you can! Not like the gravity? Drag a bar and take a trip to Mars! Not like being in 3rd Person? Use the scroll wheel to go into 1st Person mode! I was actually surprised with the amount of things you could change in this game, which is actually cheaper than the average sandwhich. Use that logic to convince your friends to buy this game so you don't have to play it by yourself. Trust me, It worked for me.

Overall Graphics: For an early access game this is top tier. Honestly. The screenshots aren't cutscenes, there actually aren't any cutscenes in this game, I mean it's mini-golf why would there be? All the screenshots are in game footage. Crazy huh?

It's Balanced: All the courses in this game are very well balanced, which suprised me since this is a golfing game. (aside for the ones you can access by turning on beta content, those need some work. Like ffs the Twilight map is hard af)

Blacklight Interactive has done something spectacular with this game and I cannot wait for the Bogey Boy DLC. Great work guys.
