Despite all the Bad reviews, I've had a great time playing and enjoying the game; Bf5 to me was the worst of the BF games;
This ones returned to at least bf4 levels of reasonable game-play loops;

The bugs I've faced, not only are minimal they are humorous at worst; Hovercraft suddenly parkco'ing up a building? a random swamp of ships flying in the background rather then birds?

Overall despite the bugs and complaints "theres not enough" there is, and knowing BF they'll release more and more content until its full to the brim like always; Track record stands they'll always fillin the blanks by dec next year;
But if you are seeking the old school bf4 style tact shooter this one ticks that box for me.

I mean sure most of my hours are in the queue, but if the devs keep making this game better as time goes on, I think its got a reasonable base! Best new western mmo in years
Heres hoping!

I own this game twice, that's how much I don't mind it;

On my xbox version I've completed the main campaign, and given how good it is I am tempted to repeat it in my PC version;

Overall its not a perfect game, but the devs seem to be no man skying this so if that keeps up I think I can support it;
Only big thing I feel that could help is crossplatform; In a game thats focused on PVE and co-op I wouldn't mind a pick up and play aspect where I can boot into my xbox for chill lounge sessions or play on my pc for perfect boss raids;

But aside from that I feel if they add more content, flesh out the systems and streamline out the bugs this game has a bright future; Overall if your friends enjoy mindless mob kills and team work semi reminding me of MMO raids; this is for you;

Also I do love each heroes feeling of "special" but we'll see how that goes down the line.

ToM isn't a bad game;

Once you get past the fact its a PURE team based game, and the village chest is a shared loot system; It runs smoothly; Tho I must say running into players looting everything from the chest to solo craft thinking "thats how it works" does slow down and create "bad" matches- Overall I'd love to see a rewards based system on how much you put into the community chest

BUT gripe aside, its a fun game so far, solid base with yep the odd bug; Overall I think if the devs give this game heaps of love and add more event/content it could be a great game, But I mean once you get over the core game play loops, you can nail most of the game within about 15hours or less; I just wish there was more reason to go past day 15.

Can't wait to see how they change the game going forward

They way I think of this is a "raid simulator" its an MMO style raid/dungeon grinder, with randomised item/weapon drops'

Overall its really fun, and even better with friends; honestly I just hope the devs add enough bosses and complexity that the game could end up becoming endless

I got this game a while back, Not expecting to enjoy it as much as I do;

The game overall reminds me of old school JA mods' and JA itself; Overall yes needs polish, but if you can get a game*(in aus server numbers are low)
Its rather fun;
In effect I'd say if the devs can get the funding via sales and keep pushing out updates this game will in time be pretty great;
And for anyone looking for an OG JA experience this is pretty close

I've played more hours then it suggests purely because that was back in the Battlelog days.
Overall in 2021, Bf4 has aged super well, it holds up along side alot of "next gen" titles. Its one of those games coming back too feels not only "homely" but also solid fun.
Playing this now seems like a shame that current games around can't achieve this level of simplistic warfare.
Honestly if you love BF then booting this up is a treat.... I PRAY 2042 can live up to this... and doesn't pull a BfV

So, I'm running a top of the line rig' So I understand anyone that isn't will maybe face issues, this IS COMMON with all launches;

Overall tho as a LONG TIME player; I cried when I saw my ship.... New Graphics, and the overall gameplay IS AMAZING; I mean an intro story line... NOW is the time to play ED; you've ever been on the fence now is the time to play;

Overall I know Frontier will develop out this launch like they have done since launch; And I can only hope they keep a story line system like they just did for the intro cos I WAS BLOWN AWAY!

Overall Its a foundation thats soild... its like building a new house and having things installed in a years time the game wont look the same, 2 years I'll be deeply invested in my life in this game. But right now.... I'm a kid again

I wish I could give this game a "thumbs up" - But in its current state it needs EXTREME improvement;

I'll give you a snapshot of my last match;

Joined a match mid-game; Somehow the Enemy team had pushed everyone back to spawn; because of lack of spawn protection you'd basically spawn and die... this lasted for about 5mins before I just couldn't handle being unable to leave spawn; had to alt-f4 to get out; as the game wouldn't let me leave match or report the players; Wont be playing again tonight

Games idea is nice, but because it only has one game mode, and the NPC's seem well... stupid, It mostly comes down to the end game push to wench the gold; I feel if the end game push was more PvPvE based it might help balance the play out a little allowing say a gold reset if the sheriff gets it or a "all fail" but given thats all you have to do; Aside from leveling to get perks... not much meat to the pie;
Not to mention lacking AUS server which makes a game thats based on timing interesting at 150ping

Overall I'm thinking in a years time I might get my moneys worth; But in the current aspect its going to take some patches before I come back.
