I do love this game,

Combat is amazing, fluid you feel as your roll away from an enemy throwing a knife at you whilst rushing, it feels good;

What I see is the issue here is the slow roll off of content and missions; WHICH I feel can be corrected with love, hell I'll even take DLC or an "expansion pack" wish devs did that :(

Overall issue is after you explore and get past the first 3 worlds *yes worlds* content starts to drop; I honestly expected MORE after going to Rham or Rhom I forget the name of sandlands, the worlds seem smaller and less puzzles; which mind you I LOVE the puzzles needs more;

Honestly the "labyrinth" was a let down as it wasn't one; Issue is here once you speed up towards the finish it just.. that it... Sure you can join a friends play or "repeat a boss" but overall if you can create setups like earth and sandlands it will be interesting; toss in more weapons/armour/Mods and you'll have a good game maybe even a improved crafting or forge system to make use of repeating stuff

Outside of this fixable aspect the game is good, solid combat, story is reasonable but rushed.

Honestly I love the ideas and whats presented, what ever cause the rush or lack of feeling; I blame them but for those in the team that put in the work to achieve the rest, great job!

ED is the Space Sim; At current its a good time to be alive if you love space;
But ED is both advanced and easy enough that even the most FPS only gamer can learn it;

Within the years since I backed it in 2012, its changed to a point that you can barely even know the game that it was;

And now with the MASSIVE odyssey update, the graphics are finally out of 2014 era and into the 20's
Honestly if you love star trek, star wars, or any space tv show;
This is the game for you.
Just don't expect the game to hand feed you, at least yet; for now its a "make your own adventure"-lite, But I expect one day they'll put in a supporting campaign to backdrop the already interesting story universe

Its Catan, If I can't flip a table, its not good enough

Honestly this is the first time I've run around a field scared of the women chasing me....and men....Highly suggest playing stoned or drunk - Look forward to the expanded content

I've only put a few hours into this amazing game; But its been 12 solid hours of gaming;

I feel like a kid again, excited about the game, eager to play and dreaming about it;

Haven't had this feeling honestly since DAO came out so many years ago:

Key Thing I love, ALL quests are honestly so twisting and unexpected, I've not found a "boring quest" - the paths they all take keep me hooked as they all have plot twists in the smallest ways, nothing is straight forward;

Yes theres big areas they lack BUT this isn't a big budget funded project like Dragon Age or anything bioware, But it takes the roots of what made those games amazing, and does it again at the OLD classic style;

Honestly do yourself a service and fall in love with this game.

Honestly if you are looking for the "long night" GOT game after EP3 - This is your fix!
Just like that EP tho, don't expect Plot or logic.
Tho great game thus far!

Overall if you get the season pass, like with any game in this generation;
I can't fault it;

Overall I like the game alot, its polished, tiny bit buggy now and then, but if the developers keep putting love into this game in the same way say killing floor 2 does; I can't see a fault with this game;
It scratches that Mummy or Indiana jones itch!

Overall I'm pleased that this game on Launch will be f2p;

Overall I have to say that its extremely well polished; until the game goes f2p or gets enough support from the "influencers" - its going to suffer in nations like australia;

If it can hold up and keep trucking until f2p I think it could rivial the sadly strong juggernaughts in the "genre" of BR

Also the Balance of the heros was suprising, great work Stunlock

Overall I've been loving this game;
Its taken me back to the TableTop AND RPG's in general;

Anyone thats hungry for a rich story choice driven game give this a run; BUT it is very hard and doesnt slow its punches

As you can see, I've played it for a handful of hours,

I did once love this game, But since this years new "management" I can't say I'm in love anymore.

Pro's
-Great selection of characters
-Lovely difference in character play style customisation
- Skins aren't half bad
- Card system


Cons
-Development team aim for the masses rather then the heart of the game
- Games have gone from "longer" to "shorter" aiming at fast fights rather then heated battles
- Payload is now a "event" rather then a gamemode
-Launch "1.0" has completely skipped ironing the bugs and holds no honest value
- Support to fix the terrible match making is not even being looked into *Australian based* given the australian numbers are dying hourly due to 20-1 hour long wait times.
- Developers Killed the Annouced new mode "battle royal" after 48hours, even the new version currently in development is completely void of the core reason it was interesting. No heros only normal BR
- Currently live version lacks complete "artwork" which has been in the game since the card system was created

Overall I dont normally delete a game, hardly ever unless its to clean up HD space. IF anything I say it might possibly be ok, but for me, what the game has been is now so completely different its void of any reason to play.

I say give it a try, hopefully in the future they can resolve these issues... but overall I dont hold faith anymore within the development team
