On July 11th 2020 @ 01:31 - 13 years later - It truly feels like a wonderful accomplishment to strip my computer of all water cooling parts FINALLY! water cooling was one of the biggest mistakes/headaches I ever made and it was never worth it. Bought the processor a PWM fan along with cleaning & placing new thermal paste, threw out the 1 GB video card with it’s water cooling block to replace it with an 8 GB video card with it’s lovely fans that activate only once a certain temperature is reached while OC'ing, dismantled the water cooling radiator on the side of the computer that only added to it being gigantic and bulky. Used 2 of the radiator fans as air intake fans on the front of the tower, so when all is said and done, I got 2 air intake fans on the front end, 2 air intake fans on the side, 2 air exhaust fans on the top and 1 air exhaust fan in the back. Bought and equipped the computer with an SSD for the operating system, while keeping the old HDD for computer related programs and files/folders, equipped a Bluetooth 5.0 adapter (can connect up to 6 Bluetooth capable/wireless devices) for the wireless headset, but also for the future input of a wireless printer. It took a week, but this 13 year old computer (now 15 years old as of 07/02/2022) is a BEAST once more!
