Highly recommend, short and very sweet

I'm still a complete noob to this game but whenever someone asks me if I know of any realistic zombie survival, I will always recommend this one. Do not let the graphics fool you. This game is the most in-depth and realistic zombie survival you'll find and you'll realise just how immersive it is as you play, you'll completely forget you're playing a 2D (I think?) game and start to fully invest yourself into the world and your character. Cannot recommend enough!

I'm a huge fan of Payday 2. This review isn't about the always online issue OR the server issues as they will be fixed in time. It's more about the game as it currently stands.

I feel like they added the XP mechanics just to keep people playing the lack of content they have in this game. Don't get me wrong, I actually like the heists they have made for Payday 3. But outside of the 12 heists you get, the only other things you can do is level up weapons. But the issue with that is that you need to replay the same 12 heists to achieve this. For most people, you pick a weapon you enjoy and you stick with it. There's 0 incentive to keep going once you've completed the heists, even on normal difficulty.

Payday 2 had the safehouse for you to spend money on and upgrade. You completed heists to buy a new weapon, mask, mod, clothing etc. All things Payday 3 has but are lacking in quantity and diversity to each. Akimbo in payday 2 gave you an incentive to make money to buy and upgrade your guns that go along with the skills you put into akimbo. Payday 3 just lacks any reason to continue playing once you've seen each heist. There's no perks or skills that mesh super well with a specific build. It's all just so generic. It's not a PvP game. Let me build a super OP skillset that mesh's really well with the shotgun or throwing knives etc. Not just a "10%" more damage so I still need to 2 tap the armoured enemies like I did without the perk anyway
It just doesn't have that fun variety of "What can I do to fully max out this kit or make the most broken build anyone has ever seen" - instead it just has the generic builds everyone will use to play the same heists


If they manage to bring back the things that made Payday 2 fun, I'll happily come back and change the review. But currently, this game isn't worth the price even for the lowest it's going for right now. -also change the UI

At the end of the day, it's £35 for a game with no substance unless you pay for the DLC's which they added before fixing the main game or even trying to make it enjoyable. Starbreeze, I have no idea how you can fumble this so badly. It's not like you had a well-loved game to reference for what makes PD fun. Oh wait...

Like this game but sadly have to give negative review in hopes the Devs will notice and try to fix the multiplayer issues! This game on single player is fun but I don't have any drive to play alone.

This game is very cute, comical and fun. Only cons to it are that it's not very long and it's very easy to beat. I completed the main objectives and the DLC in under 9 hours (it can be completed much faster than that. I've just been exploring). The rest of my time has been spent searching for collectables and sitting in the area with the screaming creatures because they are honestly my favourite thing about this game.

Probably best if bought on sale as the games play time isn't worth it full price.

This has been in development for so long and not much has changed. They've increased the price for no work. Not sure why it has so many positive reviews. Either people with nostalgia or something suspicious is going on. Also not sure why Steam has allowed them to keep the game on the store considering other games have been forced to have them taken down when nothing has improved for a set period of time - wasting people's money. Not to mention the amount of people boasting about the graphics. The graphics are as terrible as a ps2 game. No improvement for years.

Great game, definitely worth the money but only if you have people to play it with. Public lobbies aren't worth it at all.

This game is great. Even greater with friends as you wind up destroying your relationships with them one by one. Move aside Monopoly. Among Us is the new friendship destroyer.

Only negative thing about it is that the servers are having issues. However the devs have spoken about this and are trying to fix said issues. This is a small indie team who have made an incredible game and it is well worth the money.
