Early Access Review
If you like city builder games you will like this.

If you like total war games you will like this.

It is a blend of the two and blends really nicely. The building of houses is such a intuitive and satisfying tool to use. You are free to build however you like.
If you want grid and structured layouts, you can or if you want an organic terrain following layout the build mechanics cator to this nicely.

Economy and resource gathering takes a while to get used to but once you get the basics down it becomes an easy experience.

Once you have an army to use there is an engaging and tactical gameplay that is as good as other war games.

For what has been achieved already with this game is a testiment to the developer.

It's still an early access game so there are QOL things that not in game yet but that's only a minor negative

The game makes you feel like a hero but at the same time human.

That's what i enjoy about it the most. You can't just go in and bash a load of zombies you have to be a bit tactful. Granted as you unlock abilities it does make you more super human but the core fighting mechanic limits you in a more "realistic" manner and I'm ok with that. It makes for a better experience.

Dying light 2 offers a relatively unique gaming experience for an RPG.

There's been a few performance issues but only minor and sparce instances of npc appearing through geometry and some hilarious rag doll effects. Although the rag doll instance only happened one.
Never any major issues.

Get the base version of this game when it's on sale!
No point getting the premium bundle on at this stage.

I do believe the amount of time you can play this game on a daily basis will effect your outlook of this game.

If like me you can only play for a couple of hours a week, then the game is worth it (still recommend you buy it on sale.) For someone who can play daily then there probably won't be enough content to keep you engaged. The maps and rounds will start to repeat and you can lose interest and can become repetitive.

We know what the launch was like and the deserved criticism it received.

What it does get right is,

- Visually great looking game
- Solid infantry gameplay and mulitplayer experience.
- Still has a lot of players playing.

The game is improving and there are balancing issues (what game doesn't) but the more you play the game the better you'll become at dealing with them.

The vehicle play is not the best compared to previous titles. A lot of people who play for the vehicles will feel disappointed with 2042's vehicle gameplay. More so with the limited number of them and very low availability to actually get too.

Not everyone likes the specialist system and I can understand why. For me is that this is a different battlefield game and moves slightly away from previous titles. It has reverted back since to an extent.

There's plenty to enjoy the game and coming in now you'll have a good experience of the game as it is in a FAR better state than it was at launch

Telltale Games have produced another amazing title and are paving the way for interactive stories.
There are very few games that have such a lasting effect on myself personally and Tales from Borderlands will be added to my all time favorite games.

The story is dynamic and portrayed in the borderlands humor and has moments of humor that will make you laugh out loud. All the characters are portrayed brilliantly and is hard to please everyone but that is what makes the game so compelling. With the quick dialog options does not leave you time to ponder but to go with your gut. It is these quickfire dialog choices that makes the game flow smoothly and keeps you engaged with the story. Also some choices soley reflect on you and have no impact on the game can leave you questioning your own morals (for a fleeting moment.)

Visually this game is a fusion of borderlands cartoon/animated style with the Telltale mechanics and with previous titles such as The Wolf Among Us, it is a match to suit both companies. If you are a fan of the borderlands imagry, then this game will suit you well.

This game ( or interactive story) is worth the price tag. Telltale Games have set a standard for this type of genre and is shows. It is a credit to all involved and there is not much else like this currently.
If you like a story driven game and strong character development then this game or any other Telltale title is something I would recomment.

Planetside 2 is one of the best fps games you will play for a number of reasons.

1 Free To Play

This game cost you nothing to play and the level of detail is amazing (when played on max settings)
You can make purchases for weapons and character cosmetics but vehicle and weapon side grades have to be earn by playing.
I have spent money on the game but it has being the only game that I have played over the past 2 years.

2 Gameplay

The gameplay is excellent and is fast paced and a veried class system gives you a wide range of play styles to choose from. Also vehicle and aircraft combat is another game in itself and will provide you with hundreds of hours of gameplay.

3 Community

If you really want to get the full pontential of the game then join a squad or platoon or outfit and play with a platoon of up to 48 people. When you consider the size of the map you can have multiple platoons fighting all over the map or at cartain bases depending on the situation. The platoon is the quickest way to get immersed in the game and can become intense but having 48 players supporting you does make for an entertaining experience.
Scale of the game

The game is not perfect it does have its issues with bugs and player driven issues and starting off is not easy in the game and a big learning curve but do not let that stop you from playing this game.
The developers are constantly updating and releasing content for the game. This game is unique and there are very few games that can compete with it.

For a free game its totally woth it.
