I've completed 2 runs and while I did have fun, I can't confidently say that this game is worth 20$ for the current amount of content. It's a little too easy to be worth that price and I feel like I've seen a lot of what it has to offer. My opinion would likely be different if the game was like 10$, but 20$ is far too much. I'll keep an eye on the development, but for now I can't recommend it.

Good game, you should buy it

I enjoyed my time with this game, but I can't ignore all of its flaws. A lot of my fun came from joining a semi-established tribe early on and learning a lot about the game from that point on.

The overall gameplay loop is pretty fun. Get materials. Tame creatures. Use eggs to make kibble. Train more creatures. Use those creatures to help you get more materials to both tame and upgrade your base more efficiently. It's pretty fun until the end game when all you effectively do is go on metal runs with harvester dinosaurs and min/max your tames.

This game, atleast back when I played it, is terribly optimized and full of bugs. From what I've read, this has not been fixed since the game came out of early access. You'll need a fairly beefy computer to run this game at consistent FPS on higher settings. Some of the bugs and glitches are good fun, especially when they happen in a call with friends. Others have the potential to get hours of work destroyed.

You see the one thing this game doesn't advertise is politics. If you hope to get anywhere in this game, you gotta know how to deal with other tribes, especially the Alpha Tribe. If you do this poorly, you'll probably end up getting locked in a cage by the alpha tribe for as long as they want (essentially keeping you from playing the game). Getting everything you worked so hard on destroyed overnight by server hoppers or poor relations is also just a terrible feeling, especially when the Alpha Tribe continues to stop any effort of rebuilding forcing you to move to a different server to be able to play again.

Don't even get me started on the DLC. I mean they pushed this stuff out in early access while the main game wasn't even close to being complete. Also they introduced these super strong creatures that can be taken to different servers and used to obliterate everyone. They sort of just left a bad taste in my mouth.

I don't think I would recommend this game. If you start off with friends and just wanna have fun, it's a good time. But if you really wanna go far and tame all of those cool creatures, you have to be prepared for a long and stupid road of repetative gameplay that can easily go stale. Playing solo is almost impossible because without multiple people, there's a high chance that most of your work will be destroyed when you're offline. I wish I could give this game a neutral review, but I'm leaning more towards the negative on this one.

This game is a deceptively good puzzle game. Sure there's some nice eye candy to look at (I'm not gonna complain about that), but the thing that kept me coming back was how much fun the stupid match 3 gameplay was. Later on in the game it actually becomes a decent challenge, requiring you to bring specific items to maximize your point gain and remembering which element is each girls favorite. If the waifus are throwing you off just cover the right side of the screen with a piece of paper and have fun with the game.

Also, boobs. I mean come on, what's not to like?

The game is fun. If it's not fun, why bother? 10/10 would go on a quest for pudding again.

Good Game. Cute Characters. Fun Combat. Alpacas. What more can you ask for?

This game is so much fun. While challenging, it never feels downright unfair. The gift system is well done, the weapons are satisfying, and the story is great for this type of game. Plus the character creator is insane.

There goes 500 hours of my life.
