Thoughts after finishing the game:
I am editing my review because after finishing the game i have a new perspective on it.Honestly i am still not sure if i would directly recommend the game but i enjoy it a lot more then at the time i first wrote. I still think that quite a few of the bosses are overtuned and the parry mechanic needs more refinement it frustrated me at times but overall it was a decently enjoyable time. I really liked the story and the music and those in particular made me change my opinion . It was also brought to my attention from a friend that finished the game that i am pretty bad at parring =))) so maybe that influenced my view of the game but that is why i think the mechanic and quite a few boss attacks need work because it was a little too hard to grasp the moment to perfect guard. Overall pretty cool game with some adjustments to parry and boss mechanics i too would call it a good successor for the souls series but not yet .Also i might actually buy the dlc ,but will wait for a discount .

Thoughts before finishing the game(I am not editing this so my change in opinion is clear):
This game had a lot of potential , great graphics , interesting characters , great music but the gameplay and bosses drag it down hard . I love souls games and i saw people saying great this about this game so i gave it a shot. I saw people calling it the successor of souls game but i have no idea why the would think that. The first few bosses have been ok , i hard a harder time getting used to the parry mechanic but managed to use it, but since the boss in the factory it went downhill. Bosses that are extremely aggressive , very long combo chains , bullsht boss moves and sometimes weird attack hitboxes(this one might be just me but idk) . In souls games i have had very few bosses that frustrated me this much , but here there are very few that don't .The game is overly focusing on the parry mechanic which i think is not even that well implemented . At this time i am 70-80% through the game , wanted to wait until i finish to post this review but couldn't . I will still finish the game but will not buy the dlc .Personally i do not recommend this game but everyone does what they want. It's sad to because i really wanted to like the game and it had a lot of potential but very rarely things are how we hope them to be.

P.S : If you try/tried the game but quit early listen to the osts on yt or anywhere you find them , they are rly good and it would be a shame to miss them .

This game is straight up a master piece , excepting the optimization everything about this game is amazing . It's a experience anyone who love a challenge should have . It can be a good starter for people who never played a souls game . Lived up the hype and surpass it . Easily one of my top 10 games .
