How can I start this review of this game when it is one of the most well-done Visual Novels of the recent years that I just beat and yet still is in the process of being finished? The team at Oppai Games really did good here. As I have 100% completed the entire game, I feel like its only right that I share my thoughts on this whole thing and give a review going into detail about this title.

Lets start with the art direction and design of the game. The characters in this game have two to three different designs, pending on events and on the animation style. In the overworld and some cutscenes, the characters take on a 3D Model that give a Persona or Catherine sort of design: a bit blocky but very expressive. The real star is the 2D models which are used during the hotel visits portion and "lemon" scenes (Those who ever used FanFic, you know that word all too well.) that are hands down very well drawn. There is a great and beautiful way they are animated and very fluid in motions. I can only think of a few scenes where the art could have used a bit more time in the oven, but as this game is still a Work In Progress, I would love to see updated CGs and maybe some touchups. The final way you can view models is in the PNG format, similar to most Visual Novels, RPGs, and the like; a character portrait often showing the emotion and the features given per scene. They give a good view to those who are talking as most of the game's dialogue is short sentences or grunts/moans, but I will cover sound design here soon. With that all being said, each and every character is unique, from side characters that would have usually gotten the no-show method, to being a "copy-paste, copy-paste, copy-paste", which, no, that is not the case. Every notable side character has a PNG, 3D model, and distinct voice. The ONLY models that are the same, are the hotel visits during when you run your love hotel, which I believe are of the Main Character and a character named Sara Nakano, and I will NOT be against that. Imagine making amazing side characters, with full voice acting, new models, PNGs, and wanting the focus to be on that, while having the grind session of getting your hotels going, and there is so many different looking models, I would lose my mind. Very Nicely done Oppai Games.
While I do speak of designs, the city, items, menus, and hotel rooms are ALL amazing and well done. The sets for each scene, the rooms in the hotels, down to the date artwork, the design and art are truly stellar. I love the art of this game, and I do not think that will change.

Now, lets cover the main love interests, as there are eight very unique character for each setting and each covers a certain cliche in anime: We have a cute, shy, nervous gal who is a curvy beauty (the main love interest according to the store web page) named Satomi Tanaka. We have a childhood best friend turned love interest named Reika Matsumoto, a foreign language teacher with a broken side that aches at ya named Professor Laura Belmont (if that is a funny way of adding Castlevania to the game, you made me chuckle because I immediately quoted Dracula, "You must be a Belmont."). Then add on a football/soccer player who is failing classes and needs you to be there for her named Sara Nakano (remember her?), throw in a gamer nerd who loves figurines and needs your help finding her voice, and a job, named Toshiko Ahane. A rich daddy's girl who is way too rich and important for any BS named Victoria Holland, a cute new age model who wants to make her dad proud named Aria Ito, and my personal favorite character; an old member of a band who played the piano but left to be there for her daughter, named Mai Ahane. Believe me, Mai WILL be your favorite as she swooned me, and I am not the one to usually go for her sort of character in games. These all are possible love interests, with very interesting and fun stories, side events, and hotel invites to do. I will not get into spoilers, but be wise on who you pick and if you want them all or one of these lovely women. I strongly recommend doing your work in the hotels and gaining new rooms as that is the way to unlock special, and I do mean SPECIAL scenes with your chosen love.

Now as for the plot and gameplay of the game, its very solid. You are playing the son of a hotel owner who has failing hotels, so what do you do? You make them into Love Hotels and attempt to save the company! Do your parents and employee, who is most surely NOT the best part of the plot, approve of this choice? HAHAHAHA nope! However, its on your hands to do whatever you can to make the hotel GREAT and branch into becoming the best love hotel owner this side of the globe! HOWEVER, the hotels will NOT be your only source of income. You can work, as of RIGHT NOW (as I do see we are not completed in terms of a finished game), three jobs that help bring out the best in girls and help you excel in their relationships. From a battleship style massaging minigame, to a "This or that" bar game, to making the best ramen for the girl of your choosing, there is a LOT of ways to play this game.

And now, my final topic: is this game good on its own compared to those in the same genre. Does this game have anything I would recommend to those in this community over any other VN, and the answer, is YES. I like this game's way of telling a story, of how the game makes you choose what path you need to go through. The game is not just banging chicks and no story. Mai, for example, does not immediately go into those scenes, but you learn and develop an actual relationship with her. Heck, the MC shows RESTRAINT and only acts when there is consent, and there is a bond. The one time he does acts not right, he flat out stops himself. This game's art is also so unique that I have to give praise on that alone making it more superior than VNs like SHELTER, Love Esquire, and Sounds of Her Love, not that those ones are bad, just I really prefer the art direction of Quickie a lot more. The sound design is fantastic as is the music, which I will say is on par with the soundtrack of Doki Doki Literature Club and Aurelia. Just the way each melody hits and sound beat is 10/10. This game has so much story, and if you are going for 100%, it should not be too short or two long. I have been playing this one and following this game since 2022, and I will say, this game has grown a lot and for every achievement, I would say would take 10 to 15 hours to do so. However, this is one game where the skip button should be for show, as this game's dialogue is so good, not a single bad scene in my eyes.

Overall, given the great music, fantastic story, unique and gripping story for each girl and grand main story, I will be giving Quickie: A Love Hotel Story a 9/10 rating as of now. However, once the game is Completed, I may change that to a 10/10. Just the few scenes where the art was a bit off is distracting and maybe would love some more unique songs for love scenes versus the same one would be stellar. That being said, I will be recommending this game to all who are of age to play and this game can bring you into the Visual Novel genre and make you smile. OH! Also, Mai is best Girl... Bite me. Solo Mai game when??!!!

What can I say except, this game is a masterpiece of what it is. Is it a 10/10? No, but the small cons do not take away from the adventure which is the hours you spend in the prolouge. Yes.. THE PROLOUGE is long and I have so much fun with just that. The FULL game is a great game, and unlike me who watched playthrough after playthrough, I recommend going in BLIND. This is worth it.

This is one of the better horror one-off games which I would love to play again on stream. 10/10 experince, got all the scares right and I love it all.

What can I say that has not been said already, minus play this game is a LOAD of fun.
Yes, I did my choices and still think I have more to discover. The grind didn't feel tetious, nor did it feel unfun to play. The scenes you all bought this game for (we sick ♥♥♥♥♥) are well done and the story never ceases to be fantastic. I did name her after my irl GF, and who knew the secrets this game has. Hands down the best VN I have played of 2022 as of rn, and I cannot wait to see what comes next from this developer.

I give it a solid 8/10, as I wish the scenes had a bit more animation and Voice Acting would push this VN over the mark. but in the end, this game is still a Great time. with the endless creative experinces you could have with the side games and the dog/cat/car selection. I do wish the gym lead to something minus making the characters a bit more toned, but all around, solid game.

I love the game, and yes, mods add to it, but the OG concept and story saved my life. I was in a dark past and my head was not in the right place, but I wanted to play this game. I love the game, as it showed the true colors of what depression and anxeity, loneliness, and absolute loss is. But also made it one of the best visual novel experinces of all time. I am so happy I played this game, and boy, without spoilers, do what I did, and save at the end of each day and go back to see the other girls' routes.

Well, this game died and had its hype, and yeah, the fan base is still there, but all around, a fun game with friends and family, great for streams, and of course, amazing for content. AMONG US will stay a classic for the game it was, but now, it is marked in the Hall of Good Games that will have fans for decades to come.

Well, It definitely has horror elements, but the trophey rush took up way too long, and the controls are super blocky (Makes the old RE games feel smooth). It did scare me, but I cannot give a game praise for scaring me as I am a fearful person. It is not a BAD game, just needs a patch on the controls. I will say if you do wanna try it, do it, it just isn't for me.

Alright, this game has monkee, and it has bloon. You use the Monkee to pop da Bloon. And it’s fun! Legit, I recommend it more than most.

This is legit one of the funniest and best Indie games I ever have played. The game is super fun and easily a great RPG. I might say this puts FF to shame! Fun story, lovable characters, and a great system of jokes, this will keep you smiling until the cows come home.

Okay, this is my "I am gonna get drunk and play a game" sorta thing. This is the PERFECT drunk game, Get some friends and enjoy some buds with friends. Gosh dang it, the custom maps people make for this is amazing. And if you are with friends, turn on collision, it makes things SO much more fun.
