It's a side game with a simple story, not much else and yet, RGG studio can make it work while having quite the simple setting. I enjoyed most of the game with a few minor issues, one of them being unable to fast travel while out in the ocean but it does make sense as you do need to get to a save spot to freely travel anywhere, though I wish the boat speed was a little bit faster when not in combat and in combat remained the same.

The fighting styles are quite good although they feel a bit of an input lag after a finished combo, there is no movement cancelation so you need to get used to waiting a second for Majima to move again which may result in some damage taken. The pirate colosseum was fun but Professional difficulty made some of the fights barely possible to do them in time, resulting in lowering the difficulty at times.

The story itself is quite a wonderful experience as well, definetely stronger than most games I see nowdays that aren't Indie or from select few big game devs and I want good stories to be a standard in the undustry, which is why I highly recommend RGG Studio games.

That being said, yes, I very highly recommend this game if you want fun combat and neatly digestible story.

Is it fun? Absolutely.
Is it overpriced? Eeeeh, I say kinda, If the price of the game had the DLC in it for free then I say it would be worth full price but I just recommend getting this one on sale. I really love Tripwire originals such as this one and I gotta say, it got couple chuckles outta me. Honestly, I'm hungry for more shark type games like this and I think Tripwire got the foruma quite well done here.

It's a very cool and neat game to relax to while playing it and I highly recommend if you need a chill out with some potion brewing.

The Addition of Spirits and Blood Makyrs would've been quite Interesting if not for they fact that:
1. There is no way to take down their shields or even stagger them
2. The spirits just double HP, Speed and Damage a demon does. Can you remove the spirit from a demon? F*ck no, you have to defeat the demon, switch to microwave beam and pray you don't get interrupted. I tried this game on Nightmare mode because I thought that I could do well. First level was alright, second I started to get frustrated and third was just absurd. There is no difficulty in this game, it's just one giant middle finger. There is no strategy, just praying for survival and hoping you're quick enough. Instead of strategising where to attack, who to beat, and how, It's just endless wave of bullsh*t. I love the lore of this game, I really do but if the lore is hidden beinh having to play this game on easy and highest difficulty does not reward with anything, this is just pathetic.

20 years of one of the best games ever released on the best gaming platform a company has to offer.
Many other companies scratch their heads wondering why Valve is as succesful as it is. Honestly, I think it's funnier when they can't find a solution to this simple question because when they do, they will dismiss it regardless.

That being said, Game is simply the one game you need to play.

It's genuinely a fun game, very grindy but once you get past that, you can have a lot of fun with it and if you do not want to grind too much, there are "other" means of getting past grinding. Besides that, the combat is really fun, while not as good as the original, it's still something really neat and if I ever want a game to play while watching a TV show just to turn off my mind for a moment, It's good to just play some dungeons for it.

However, while I praise this game, I cannot recomment it to people who absolutely hate grinding as there's a lot of it in this game, especially if you want to get weapons and skill levels up, It's really really difficult to recommend if you have troubles with it. However if you want to play the game just for the story itself, go for it, it's real good.

Friends vs. Friends is a fantastic friend shooter. It's so much fun playing with friends together, especially when there's four people to play it with, you can just set up your own special match. I love it and I definetely recommend it.
