Early Access Review
I've been absolutely obsessed with this game ever since I first played it, and I don't think I'll be getting bored of it any time soon even though I've pretty much completed every quest that's out so far. The only things I would change would be:

-Allow selling to merchants and/or allowing you to buy another dropbox, since the space is very limited.

-Pause time while in menus of any kind.

-Make the barn functional.

-Add gates so you can utilize fences more easily.

This game provides a charm very similar to that of Deadly Premonition. Quirky characters, janky animations, strange dialog, and a general feeling of confusion all add together to create something charming and worthwhile. The game as a whole on one hand, is not a particularly *good* game, but it is an enjoyable one for the most part. However, I've found the majority of my enjoyment with this has been due to the games mechanical faults. Characters will slide into frame, pop in out of nowhere, not move their mouths when speaking, or sometimes just leave the scene mid-sentence altogether. I would recommend this game the same way one recommends watching The Room, with a friend and for fun. do not expect the next Metal Gear Solid.

What this game lacks in general understanding of a survival experience, it makes up for with bits of random and entertaining mindless murder.

To start, you and the son you'll inevitably spend 90% of your playtime forgetting you're supposed to save, crash land (in a plane) on an island filled with mutant cannibals. So, in essence, South Jersey. But besides the screeching of angry cannibals and the howls of innocent animals you'll kill and skin to make fashionable bags to carry more rocks in, you'll also spend a very minute amount of your time looking for ♥♥♥♥♥♥ crayon drawings, likely done by your irrelevant child, all around the land and caves of the world.

Where the game loses the bulk of it's appeal is the cave diving. I'm sure for some, it was a cool experience and throughly enjoyed, however for myself and the people I played alongside (I highly recommend playing this multiplayer instead of Single Player) we would continuosly find ourselves lost and confused by the many cave systems, in some cases resorting to using the games buggy colision meshes and poor clipping to scam our way through confusing portions of the cave systems.

My last complaint, of which I have many but most of them are personal gripes that have no bearing on the game as a whole experience, is the story. The story here reaks of a game developer trying to add a sense of finality to a project in which one was not intended. As it goes *POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT* you'll spend roughly the entire game collecting small cassette tapes and 5 second long cassette tapes, harkening back to the days of when I would record The X-Files on my VCR only to have my mother accidentaly tape over the final 20 minutes of it with Paula Dean screaming racial obscenities. You may think all this collecting and building would eventually lead to some grand reveal, and while you'd be forgiven for believing that, you would be ultimately wrong. *MORE SPOILERS* You'll be thrust into an end game so hastily put together I'm shocked it didn't break some form of fire code somewhere. A large lab complex, likely bigger than the entire games mildly unneccesary cave system, will great you upon reaching the end game. Now, what of all the VCR tapes and pictures you found? Nope, don't need them. Just scan the conviently located keycard you better have found in whichever random caves you were able to find and successfully navigate, and you're in! In this lab, you're given roughly 98% of all the games story, which while I won't spoil it here for you, it certainly doesn't feel like it was an original concept for the game.

Ultimately, I think this game was an excellently executed and well put together example of how a survival/horror experience should play. However, a moderately non-sensical story and 1,001 bugs strewn about throughout the game, mixed with the incredibly deep and complicated cave system, bog it down considerably.

I recommend it, but only if you have friends who will happily play the game with you and endure the bugs and issues that come with it.

A straight up, no holds barred, simulation of real world baseball. While some leagues are missing (mainly college ones) they've done an amazing job of compiling and creating one of the most time consumingly fun and comprehensive sports simulations out there. I highly recommend this if you're a fan of the sport or interested in learning, but if not, it's probably not worth your time!

This game is so fun. You control everything about your kingdom, including who inherits the throne and your heir's wife.
The game offers a large amount of replayability, due to the fact that you can play as any country (no matter their starting size or possible vassalage) and each of the 3 era's offer different mapscapes.

A must have for strategy fans.
But action fans may be a little turned off by the immersiveness of the game.
