I didn't love the game at first due to combat mechanics and gameplay loop not being the most impressive and falling a little flat, but every other aspect of this game has made me really fall in love with it over time. This game has best execution in coalescence of theme, story, writing, and art direction I've ever seen. Even though it may not be the most impressive roguelike I've ever played as an avid fan of the genre, this is easily worth the time and money.

(At the time of writing, this game is on sale for under $10AUD, its a no brainer)

hard game to get into and definitely not for everyone, but if you can get past all that and learn the game to a pretty large extent, outplaying the opponent is the best feeling in the world.
if you're not from na or eu, your matchmaking experience is probably going to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and the quality of servers can be playable but sometimes tilting.
if hirez can keep dragging in more new players AND KEEP THEM THERE then this game could be quite popular

Sometimes you're gonna get a pro that will carry his team on his back and sometimes you're gonna get a bigmewtwo2011 fenrir who just bought the god in the lobby and buys no items in game with a 1000 player total damage and goes 0-17, you just gotta roll that dice
