I think its fun, and my game generally runs fine. Some folks mileage may vary depending on their system specs. There are some people who are mad at the game online, but I haven't personally ran into a lot of the issues I've seen online. I've also had some issues of my own. The developers seem to be trying to keep up with bugs and exploits with patches almost every night lately. They recently said that they have the tools to reimburse people now for vehicles lost to bugs, and are encouraging people who lose something to make a report so they can be reimbursed.

There is some server lag, but some of that is probably on my end.

I would recommend joining a guild. I started one and have been progressively inviting people that seem cool. You can play solo mostly fine, but as you get close to or into the Deep Desert (endgame) it becomes a lot harder to do by yourself. I was at about 120 when I got to the endgame.

Im changing my review because they released a statement talking about what actually happened. It seemed like a bit of a cop out, but I am glad that theyre not going after Schedule 1

DDS2 was a lot of fun, and I had a good amount of fun with it. Hopefully they continue to improve the game like it seems like they plan to do. Its nice to see more drugs coming along, but the Casino DLC seems like and odd choice.

Overall its a pretty fun game for $25 that you can enjoy with your friends. I would have liked to see more things cross over from DDS1 but if I wanted to play DDS1 I would have played that instead.

I like the game, mostly.. I want to thumbs up it because I dont really feel like its as bad as some people are making it out to be. Naturally, being the next game in the series, it does a few things differently than the previous titles. I dont really personally think that the UI is as bad as people make it out to be, but whatever. The game looks really good, and I like a lot of what they did. Things definitely feel a little more condensed/simplified than the previous games. So thats kind of up to you whether you hate or love it, and I had a lot of fun playing.. Until we started to run out of room for more players.

Limiting the amount of players able to play in a single game by so much is a huge L for the series, not to mention how they cut out map sizes above like Small I think. I cant even play with my whole friend group in one game. The only way to do so is to skip 70% of the game and straight to the last age which takes out like 90% of the fun. I really hope that larger lobbies are coming soon, because that's one of the main reasons that basically my entire friend group has dropped the game. We like to play with a rather large group; Something anywhere between 4 to 8 players. So if we get all of the boys together to play we now have to pick and choose who gets to join in..

..unless we just go play Civ 5 or 6 because it doesnt limit us to 5 players or whatever

All in all I think its better than some people like to say, but it has its problems for sure. If youre like me and like to play Civ with a decent sized group; Maybe pass on it until they open up more lobby and map sizes. I really want to give it a thumbs up but until I can play with all of the boiz in one lobby I just cant. If you are a solo player or have four or less friends then you might enjoy it.

This game is very fun. The physics are kind of janky sometimes, and the amount of damage things take from minor bumps are kind of annoying, but I imagine itll be balanced/changed as things go along.

Its like Lethal Company, mixed with Amnesia-like physics interactions and functional stealth mechanics.

The monsters are cool and unique. Theres a good spread of bad things to keep you and your friends on your toes, and not all of them are out to immediately kill you. There is a pretty good variety of map types/themes to explore as well and they all feel pretty unique from eachother.

Its even fun to play solo and entirely possible to do so. I like that you dont have a time limit on your mission so you can take your time, sneak around and hide from the monsters and gather all the loot you can. There is also a fun, unique way for the match to end if you and your friends fail to get enough loot to satisfy the Tax Man.

Tldr; All in all, one of the best Lethal-likes to hit the market recently. Many have tried to some success, but I feel like so far this game does it best. Lots of unique map types, enemies, loot and no timer to restrict you. If you fail your mission you can still beat up your friends to be the top loser. Easily worth the 10 dollars.

Ive been waiting for this game for some time and I'm not disappointed. I got my hands on the demo they ran and have been sold ever since. I personally really love the way the building works and the combat is an interesting addition to a game like this. A lot of city/colony builder games try to add combat and it just doesnt work. The added weight of each soldier being one of your citizen adds to the tension of the combat. The organic city building alone is enough to sell me. I love the way that placing houses works.

The game looks fantastic as well, and runs pretty well. As I got higher population I did end up having to turn the visuals down a little bit but one of my favorite games of all time is the original Mount and Blade games, so visual fidelity has never been a requirement of mine.

If you like city builder/colony builder games I highly recommend this one. Some people are overly picky about what they expect from an early access game and a lot of people built up odd expectations despite the developer being pretty transparent about what the game is/was going to be. Dont listen to the few haters in the reviews. I think this will almost certainly be one of the best games of its ilk around. I wish I could give a better rating than just recommending it.

Keep it up Slavic. This was well worth the wait and it isnt even finished yet.

There are definitely performance issues but to be honest it really isnt as bad as some of these people make it seem. If you absolutely HAVE to have your game run at a perfect 60+ fps at all times then maybe give it a wait, but I think its fun so far. I wanted to leave a review in spite of all the haters in the reviews. Got in 4 hours straight of gameplay tonight with no crashes and plan on giving it more time. I like the feel of the combat, and the way your Pawns react to stuff around you and each other. Plus its really entertaining the way they love dapping it up after a dub.

The reality of the fact is that games are enormous undertakings nowadays and rarely do you have a game run well day one. The game does look pretty good in my opinion. Everyone on the internet has a 4070+ and their game runs bad no matter what settings they put it on. Im running it mostly fine on a 2070 Super with an Intel i7-10700kf at 1440p so take that as you will. Gamers expect every game to release flawless but want to cry about a $10 increase in game pricing even though the price of video games hasn't really changed over the better part of a decade. Could it have cooked longer? Sure. Is it still fun? For me, yes.

Ive seen no reason to buy into the 'microtransactions' in the game. Theyre not necessary as far as I have gotten and you only seem to need them if you want to hire Pawns that are well above your current level. As usual people getting butthurt over things that dont effect them and will likely never effect them in the slightest.

Watch some gameplay, or give your two hour refund window a roll of the dice and decide for yourself. As always take the reviews with a grain of salt. Good luck, Arisen.

Lots of fun. Ive had a blast with the game so far. There just needs to be more to do but its super early in development so surely they will add more.

Bought this game on a whim figuring I would probably play it for an hour or so and refund. A few of the reviews in here mention buggyness and such but I havent ran into it much. There are a few odd things here and there. Sometimes combat turns take a little longer than expected for the AI but I dont feel that anything I ran into lessened my experience. I enjoyed the Pathfinder games as well and this is just the same. It does a pretty good job capturing the WH40k feel. Im not a Warhammer nerd though so take that as you will.

Bought the game, figured I would refund it, and then wound up playing it for 6 or 7 hours after purchasing. Give it a chance if youve played the other pathfinder games. Its a bit different than how BG3 and other modern RPGs. It plays closer to a TTRPG than a modern RPG.
