This was my time playing any of the Max Payne games and I truly enjoyed playing through this badass drunk action dude trying protect the family of Broncos as if it was his own family. The story was actually well scripted and isn't cheezy like most of the dialogue and short voice overs are. The freeze time mechanic added to the fun and playability of the game as it allows for gorey annihilations and allow for you to pass harder sections easier. I did wish they expanded on the stealth part of the game as I wish it could interrupt the run and gun sections with a more skillful approach. The only other issue I had with the game is that when I found a weapon that suited my playstyle, it would become unavailable later or at the end of mission. With some weapons only even appearing once or twice. Besides that, Max Payne is definitely a must buy for run and gun game players.

I went into this game not knowing a single thing about Metro besides it was based off a book. I can gladly say this is one of the better story based games I've had the opportunity to play. The visuals are a bit dated but you feel that it represents the style the game was going for. I was a bit lost on some of the controls like it took me 3/4 of the story to realize that the reason my flashlight was so dark was that I had to charge it or some weapons weren't just broken and I had to pump them up. Either I am blind and missed those pointers that told me so or the game just assumed I would figure it out. Another thing that I feel the game missed on was a variety of enemies. They introduce new enemies near the end but they only show up for a single part of a single mission. They introduced a new freaky scorpion enemy that literally only existed in the game for 5-7 minutes. You mainly fight humans or the normal mutants. Some things I really liked about the game is that it wants you to take your time and look around the mission area. Depending on your difficulty, you really need to rely of finding most of your ammo or "money" in hidden corners of the map. Each mission is crafted beautifully as it is completely different in some fashion than the one before. I was always excited for the next corner and not bored down just to meet the same mission type as the one before. There is no difficulty spike in the last mission as well so you don't feel like you are just gearing up for the last battle but rather just playing never ending story of the Metro.

I feel most of the reviews are slamming the DLC for being too short but ignore the fact that each of 7 levels are actually extremely fun to play through and listen to Guy Marvel pitch his explosive movie ideas to different forced listeners. I wish that it was longer and included an actual zombie survival concept instead of just clearing areas but to say I didn't enjoy it would be a lie. It definitely doesn't deserve the worst rating out of the DLCs.

This was my least favorite out of all the DLC. I got softlocked twice trying to play it through and gave up after getting softlocked the second time. Before that, I was kind of enjoying the story as it contained two of my favorite characters but the weapons felt like Nerf darts to the enemies most of the time and the space movement is exhaustingly slow and annoying. It adds all new enemies and mechanics but is not polished enough to be fun or playable. I would probably of liked it more if the bugs were less frequent and in your face.

I honestly enjoyed playing this DLC despite the negative reviews. I think it doesn't follow the flow of other Far Cry games so I think that's why it got negative attention. Compared to the other DLC it is the best and provides a more sneak based combat story instead of just running into a base guns blazing. It adds a couple new mechanics like airstrikes and a system that rewards you based on how quietly you kill your enemies. The DLC sadly doesn't last long and doesn't have much replayability but is definitely worth your money.

I know this game got some hate early after release but the critics are completely wrong.
Far Cry 5 has one of the best storylines I have ever experienced in a game. The way you get to experience the wrath of the cult and free the valley from its reign is unbelievably well put together. The side stories and characters are also very unique and interesting and not holding back from the wackiness Far Cry has had in the past. It has a lot of content from missions to different objectives that will give you a large amount of content to complete. It took me around 60 hours to beat the main storyline which doesn't include the 100+ side stories the game has. There is no downtime as there are a lot of random encounters with patrols, animals, or random campsites with enemies in the forest. The customization of the weapons and vehicles is something Ubisoft really did well with the game. There is a wide variety of skins and specialized weapons and vehicles that can all be obtained with currency found around the game. There is an option to buy some of these specials items with real money but realistically the in-game currency prices are very much achievable and easy to obtain. The only negative thing I can say about this game is that it did not receive enough playtesting. I did not encounter any game-breaking or progress stopping glitches. However, a half a dozen important cutscenes had either trouble matching the audio to the animations or were extremely laggy. The vehicles felt different from most games as it the controls were more simple and not a real-life interpretation of how cars actually move and feel. But don't let those minor inconveniences discourage you. The game is definitely a must-have as the game is extremely polished otherwise. Ubisoft really nailed the storyline on this one.
