=================

Gameplay: This game is incredibly niche to certain audiences and doesn't appeal to everyone, Reminding me much of Skyrim but in space. (Heck it's even got the shouts and everything.) The replayability mechanic is nice. Gunplay is pretty much Fallout 4 like and so does the atmosphere. Again Bethesda is diverging into arcade(ie) like game with each continuous title which is a trend I've seen since Fallout 3, Though I do appreciate the modding potential alike many big Bethesda tittles. Oh and don't forget the funny typical bugs which I've so far discovered and at least nothing in terms of game breaking ones. Every other little features such as outposts and the space ship are pretty standard to modern Bethesda titles, Though with this one seems to be a little bit more watered down than in something like Fallout 4 and more like Destiny, And the ships are pretty much watered down Elite Dangerous with the ability to build your own ship and mash together an absolute horror with tons of weapons. The leveling system is kinda meh~ Of course there are certain builds you can do but seems like most of the stuff that you require to pass through the game are like in the first two lines of the tree. Anything else is most likely needed to be grinded or New Game +.

Story: Pretty simple in all honesty, though mildly interesting especially during the new game + phases, And seeing how the world reacts to you but only such lasts for so long. (I haven't played through most of the side quests and am just giving my word to the 22 hours spent doing the main questline + Crimson Fleet Questline.) Though with many choices alike Fallout fashion it's always interesting to see how you can change your decisions with each New Game + which might help 100% people, Though clearly this area isn't the strongest suit for the game.

Combat: Probably the worst subject of this entire game. Space combat is just- Why? it's relatively out of the way and doesn't feel all that necessary at times. Certain mechanics are alright but with the cut-scenes that you are required to watch each time you do something with your spaceship makes it more annoying than anything. (Mods would probably be able to remove these cut scenes easily and save tons of time.) It's pathetic with in this day and age that Bethesda can't adopt a better loading system as well. Doors and stuff are fine but you could easily with today's hardware, to do something incredibly special in that department we aren't in the early 2010's anymore. The enemies are a complete joke most of the time, The verity of levels are just questionable though does add a sorta tempo to the whole ordeal. They're mostly the occasional typical bullet sponge that gives actual decent loot. Otherwise don't worry about the levels. (The game will throw high levels at you regardless of what you do, And you can easily kill them. The loot as well doesn't make any sense on what it does and anything can be used at really any level. Even the loot you found at the beginning of the game can be used to kill anything late game.) Entirely pathetic in all honesty.

Graphics: They are decent, Just remember to turn off motion blur and film grain. From my first glance they seemed just really questionable. The textures seem not all that high definition and seem mildly plastic(ie) Like if I see metal I'd want to see a tiny bit of polish to it as it just lacks a ton of definition. The guns are alright in terms of how they look and fire for the most part.

Sound: Sound is pretty on point, I like the beefy thumps some of the weapons do especially the pistols. The soundtrack is pretty good as well just I'd probably like to have some music in the background anyway if it does get just really boring.

Issues: Definitely the price tag, I'm not a huge supporter of the $70 that AAA studios have been adopting as of late. I'd definitely say wait for this one to get one sale as most likely by then, a few bugs might be fixed and maybe a DLC release or two. The nutritious Bethesda bugs, I have only really encountered the hilarious ones (Such as T-Posing dead enemies which also T-Pose flat on the ground or even in objects, Walls, And Ceilings.) I am absolutely sure there would be a game-breaking bug somewhere so be careful and save often. The specs are highly peculiar remind me of the ones alike to Star Citizen's. (Please for the love of everything put this on an SSD or your not gonna have a good time, It will cause so many issues if you don't.) The compression of the game is also questionable, having a download of around 85GB (If you got a slow internet you might want to take this into consideration as it might take you ages for this.)

My Thoughts: I am honestly okay with this tittle. I think it's around the same bar as Prey and does certain things pretty well, Just nothing to really hype about but certainty something to get distracted with. 7.5/10 (Play under your own digression.)

Though I did have frame rate issues due to the graphics settings being set waaay to high by default, The game remains to be rather entertaining. I definitely see it being a rather fun experience with friends in such a story rich universe, Though the bugs are few and the crashes not too frequent but still an annoyance. If you have a Mid-High end PC don't except to be going Ultra quality unless you had spent your money on the upmost top generation upgrades.

Early Access Review
Pros: Pretty scary, definitely good with friends and sorta needed (Unless you like playing with randos then sure), And Keeps things interesting.
Cons: Mic issues is the biggest one i'd say because the fact that you sorta need it working for you to complete a Evidence step or just do the process of elimination to guess the ghost. (Needs to be fixed) Ragdoll issues is a minor one though can be funny at times. Not too much content after a few days of playing. (Might change in the future but would love more/new equipment, Maps, and features!) The habit that the ghost's Evidence never showing up. (Had this happen with freezing temperatures and ghost orb and we were ontop of trying to find it for a solid 30 minutes in.)

Overall: I'd recommend this game for the sure fun factor you can have with friends, It's still a pretty scary game! and it sorta needs that love for I am sure this game has a bright ghost hunting future! I would totally recommend to at least try this game to anybody.

A little bit of a grindy game but playing it even more and grinding more really pays off.
