Civilization V is worth the 25$

Just one more turn...

At first glance the game is wonderfull. it has an intuitive interface, multiplayer (Bit laggy with many people), interesting landscapes and more. The game sets you off with a settler and a warrior. You start off on turn 1, enable automatic turn end and suddenly its 4 am and you are at war with three nations. Very time consuming, hence every other review including mine starting with "Just one more turn".


The game is heavily dependant on microtransactions to be enjoyable. Not every DLC is expensive but if you want to experience the full Civilization experience, you are going to thank yourself for buying the DLC's.

A few pros and cons.

Cons
Many different units, strategies and leaders.
Game still lags quite alot on multiplayer.
Steam has alot of mods. This changes the game and makes it more enjoyable if you want changes or alternate buildings units etc.
Very intelligent AI. <-- Lies
Wide system compatibily.
AI has a more complicated personality than my ex-girlfriend.
Games last a long time and there's lots of variety per civilization and its playstyle, almost impossible to have a similar game you've had before.
DLC's are almost neccasary. The content it provides is much more fun and the original game is a bit dry on its own.
We see an alternate version of Ghandi Fu**** Ghandi
Nice guys do NOT always get the last laugh.
Fitting and relaxing audio. Simple visuals and good textures.
Losing space races against african zulu tribes.




Making Germany believe in Judaism.

Bunch of filthy Germans being Jews are actually very happy.
