If you like any souls game at all then you'll love Elden Ring, and if you don't like souls games because of their frustrating nature you'll also love Elden Ring.

In my opinion this game is an improvement on all fronts when compared to other souls games. The combat feels better than ever, the addition of a jump and crouch is a huge change as well as the ash of war system being a more fleshed out version of the weapon arts from Dark Souls 3. The AI of the enemies feels intelligent and combat is both tight and responsive. There is even a mod to play Co-Op through the entire game without disconnecting.

My only complaint is some performance issues and I can't wait to see what kind of DLC there may be.

This game is full of nothing but excessive grind, and all the devs want from you is to buy as many shark cards as possible. The game spams you with phone calls that are in-game advertisements for buildings you need to buy, there are hackers in every single lobby, lots of bugs, and the list goes on. I've had dozens of complaints about this game and I've finally gotten sick of it. The story mode and base game is good, but the online experience is ♥♥♥♥, plain and simple. Absolute garbage, not worth your time, energy, or money. I find myself left incredibly jaded after finally giving up this game, I hope rockstar can handle multiplayer better in the future, they treat the online almost like you are playing a free to play game. ♥♥♥♥ these guys, I can't bother with this game any longer.

Early Access Review
This is why I don't trust early access. I bought this game in late 2013- early 2014, it was a gift from a friend. Yes it was fun, we spent plenty of time on empty servers just gearing up and finding each other, then we'd usually just die or something after a zombie ran through a wall and killed us, or we fell off a building from bad controls. This was back in the alpha of 2014 when I had quit, the zombies had become way too alert, and they also were annoying to deal with. The year is 2017, the game is still in alpha, and apparently not much better off.

I have come to thoroughly enjoy this game. I participated in the open beta and loved it. This game contains 4 classes currently, for each of the 3 factions. Each class controls and acts very differently from any other, the only characters which can be compared to others in terms of playstyle is any hybrid type class. Most classes are balanced very well and require a lot of skill and practice to be good with. The fighting system of the game is very simple, but very hard to master. There are few game mechanics I would judge as unfair, but personally I would say that Shugoki should be staggered like other characters, and that bleed damage type combos were more difficult to use, to avoid spam of DoT.

I've noticed this game has been getting hate bombed recently, due to having microtransactions. It's very simple to debunk the argument over this very easily though. You can use real money to buy steel, 1,000 steel is equal to $1 US dollar. Steel can be used to buy cosmetics, equipment, and easy access to the "feat" system, which is a powerup system that allows each hero or character to achieve impossible feats by gaining kills. Alternate feats are available through leveling up your hero or simply spending around 3500 steel to get it done immediately. Feats can turn the tide of a battle, but have a long cooldown, along with requiring kills beforehand. Equipment for each hero is a sidegrade to your original armor, which includes new cosmetic appearances. Stat bonuses and negatives are only used in the "Dominion" and "Skirmish" gamemodes and are ignored elsewhere. Only custom matches can enable equipment stats and feats without being in either of those modes.

At the moment this game includes many connection issues, due to Ubisoft not giving the game designated servers. This is likely an attempt to save money in case the game failed. The game is very prone to freezes, crashes, disconnects, and errors. The game is always online, so even then you can experience connection loss or an error. As an example, right before writing this review, a friend and I finished the final mission on realistic difficulty ( a mode where there is no UI and enemies are beefed up). We both experienced an error on the credits and received none of the rewards for finishing the story. Despite this making me upset, I cannot deny the joy this game has brought me.

TL;DR This game is really fun, not p2w, but has connection problems.

Gameplay: 9/10 Story: 4/10 Community: 4.5/10 Ubisoft: 2/10

Overall: 7.8/10 (based on my personal experience, but an averaged score would have been a 4/10, which does not represent how much I like the game.)

Trash. It can't hold my attention for longer than 7 minutes, I skipped all the cutscenes so I can't say anything about them. But the dialouge was boring and bland, and the gameplay was remarkably easy, every fight felt the exact same, and the enemy pretty much took all of my hits like a punching bag. I'm glad this came in a bundle.

CS:GO Review
The community of this game is so absolutely cancerous I couldn't make it through my first game. The first thing I heard was a jukebox player spamming "ALLAHU ACKBAR" and then the ISIS Djent, it was pretty damn annoying and I ended up leaving. The next match I joined all I heard was a squeaker immediately start talking about pikachu, which I just couldn't stand for. I'd end up spending way too much time out of my life investing myself into learning the game while having to put up with the terrible community the entire time, which frankly I just cannot do. I ended up filing a request for a refund. I bought this during the winter sale for $7.49 and I still would not recommend it for those without a vast amount of patience. But if you are the patient type you could make a lot of money through the community of this game. Overall, I give it a 3/10 for the cancerous community, but in terms of gameplay alone I give it a 6/10. If not for the community I could see myself potentially having fun in this game.

I've decided to rewrite my original review from 2015. Gameplay wise I prefer this fallout to others, I like the previous games for their far superior stories and freedom. But Fallout 4 feels much better to run around and fight in. Regardless of that, the game still feels like Skyrim, with its rigid combat system. Melee is just mindlessly hitting or blocking with no technique, gunplay rewards skill but has no lean, slide, or any other mechanic to make it feel more fluid. The game gets much better with mods, but only so much is possible. The story of this game is boring and incredibly lame, it's very predictable, characters feel like cardboard cutouts, and the addition of voice acting on the protagonist was a poor choice. It absolutely murders immersion when every character you make has 1 of 2 voices. Questing is boring, it's usually "go here and get this, maybe kill some guys". The DLC I have not explored fully, automoton adds the unique ability to create robotic companions, which I think is very interesting. I forget which DLC adds the ability to create factories that produce items, but it uses some interesting manipulation of the building system. The building system in this game is incredibly welcome, and I'd like to see it in more games, as well as the gun customization being a good step forward that needs further improvement. I think that overall the DLC was a bit disappointing from my original expectations, and I definitely find that the game is a good skeleton for modding, and nothing more. I give this game a 6/10, I would buy it and the DLC on sale so that I can mod it into hell and back. After doing that it should be pretty great.

"A wonderful FPS with similar aspects of the game minecraft." Is what I used to think of the game. It's gone down hill and just isn't as good anymore. The developers abandoned it, not worth a purchase,

This game is an addiction machine in the best way possible. There have been some hiccups in development lately, but I still overall recommend this game. It's very fast paced and rewards intelligent minmaxing of your weapons and warframes. By the time you get to the 20s in mastery rank, you should be so ridiculously overpowered that nothing will be hard for you. The new player experience definitely needs some work, as the game starts very slow, and it will take quite some time to get deep into this games content. If you were to play this game and try to experience everything in the fastest way possible, it would still take you a year or two to get to the highest levels. Partially due to many things having real life timers ranging from 1 minute to 72 hours. But for a free game, this game is fantastic, there is no pay to win, no paywalls, no subscription, etc. The only thing you pay for is cosmetics, and you can even earn the platinum used to buy things in the market through trading in game items with players. It's possible to get everything you want in this game without spending a dime.
