I just completed my first play through and enjoyed every minute. Even when I threw my controller because multiple bosses were ♥♥♥♥♥♥' cheaters.
Beautiful game, I think the performance issues were overstated, they were only really evident to me right in the first area in Limgrave and anywhere that had stormy weather happening. I think that it NEEDS to be fixed, but it didn't take much away from my enjoyment of the game.
I'm looking forward to continue to explore all the things I missed along the way.
