Ton of fun, hugely looking forward to it coming out

If you played Monster Train like I did and found yourself saying "Well I wish I had more of that," then now you do. Not many new/unique mechanics in this, which is totally fine in my opinion. You get more Monster Train, which for fans of the game is perfect. Hugely recommend. Like, seriously.

Fun concept for a game. But man, seems like they focused all of their efforts on gameplay and just kind of... gave up on the writing. It was rough in the early-access version/demo, and I'd really hoped that they'd get someone to polish up the writing in between those version, but not only are there typos in the dialogue itself, but it's also pretty weak and clunky. For a game that has a definite story element, it's not a great look. Would have loved to see the company put in the same care into the writing as they did the game mechanics.

Got this game about a week and a half ago and have already put in 41 hours on it, if that's any indication of how good it is. If you like deckbuilder-style/autobattler games, this is an excellent choice. I can see how some of it wouldn't appeal to people, but if you're looking for a chill game where you can min/max your dudes and try different strategies, I fully recommend this. The dev has done an incredible job.

I don't often review games, but damn this one deserves it. Hauntingly beautiful is the best way I can describe it. These sort of text-based games aren't normally my thing, and yet this one captured my attention and had me playing literally 9 hours of it yesterday, just so I could reach the end of the story. And after that, and seeing what I did wrong, I just want to do it again. If you like empathy, relationships, and pathos, this is a game you have to check out.

Excellent game, with a dev team that actually cares about and respects the players. Heavily recommend
