I missed Where is Waldo in my life, but this game scratches that itch and it does so while oozing personality and charm. While there is not much to it, it's a nice time sink that is well worth the money.

Early Access Review
This game is addictive for people that like to work with interacting systems. This engine design could put out more power, could be more fuel efficient, if I redesign this gun I can save space while taking a marginal hit to efficiency, if I change the hull I can take more hits while preserving bouyancy, etc.

Do beware that it'll take a few hours spent on each unique element to fully understand what makes it work and what doesn't. Start relatively small (20-30m) and you'll be building floating cities and nuking baddies from the penthouse on your latest spacestation in no-time.

Without a joystick this sim is a little hard to play, that said, without a joystick that has a lot of buttons you won't get the full experience. It is perfectly doable with something like a Trustmaster HOTAS X, but you'll want to get a stick with a lot of buttons.

Despite this higher cost of entry the quality of the modules and attention to detail really shines through the lovably clunky software. Speaking of higher cost of entry, the costs of the DLC modules tends to scare off prospective players, which is why you should wait for a sale to get one module, like the A-10C or MiG-21Bis and decide if this level of accuracy in your sims is what you want.

Do take into consideration that the Flaming Cliffs 3 planes don't have the clickable cockpits that most other modules have just like they don't have thoroughly accurate systems. They, however do have accurate flight models.

With this in mind, get that aircraft you've always wanted and be the pilot you always should have been.
