Fallout 4 ..... what can I say. I was massively hyped for this game yet it turned out to so far be complete trash, i find myself having to force myself to play it and the performance /graphics of the engine are abysmal. I spent a good hour setting up mods to improve performance and graphics only for fallout to release a patch and none of the mods work, the fact that I have turned to mods after 15 hours playing the game speaks for the game itself. The settlement construction is trivial and unrewarding and to be honest is in no wa enjoyable or part of what a fallout game should be. I find myself going back to skyrim at this point, I game which i played for 100+hours without mods at solid fps and max settings and I only recently added texture packs and the likes to make the game look quite frankly incredible compared to fallout. I cant understand why this game is so taxing when i can run similkar games at much greater resolutions/settings and visuals without any of the drawbacks. The story itself is uninteresting and the characters are undiverse and boring, at no point have i seen or felt any emotion when clearly distressing circumstances occured. Perhaps bethesda should look to the witcher 3 in order to see where they went wrong and how to make a story / quests even slightly interesting, having only played 20 hours total and having dealt with huge drops in fps regularly along with inconsistant performance I feel as though I have seen everything which the game has to offer.
