It’s raining outside, and I’m home alone, just me and the sound of the downpour. I decided to replay Max Payne, my favorite game, after years, and it hit me right in the feels. The game’s dark, moody vibe perfectly matches the weather, creating this cozy yet melancholic atmosphere. Playing through the story again, I felt a deep nostalgia. The "bullet time" is still awesome, but what really got me was the emotional weight of Max’s journey. Sitting there with the rain tapping on the windows, it felt like reconnecting with an old friend.

It is a hauntingly beautiful story that breaks your heart and stays with you long after it ends. The final image of her lifeless body is a devastating reminder of the cruel world she faced, yet her quirky optimism and courage shine through, echoing her words: "Sha-daan! Happiness to everything!" The game masterfully blends innocence with darkness, balancing moments of humor with deep emotional weight. Missfortune’s unwavering spirit contrasts with the grim realities she navigates, making her journey both heartwarming and heartbreaking. This bittersweet masterpiece finds light in even the darkest moments, serving as a powerful reminder of life's fragility and the strength of resilience.

Go in blind. Inside thrives on mystery, and every moment you spend knowing less makes the experience that much more intense. It's a dark, eerie journey that rewards curiosity and punishes assumptions. Don't spoil it for yourself, just dive in and let the game pull you under.

Playing Assassin's Creed in 2024 is a journey back to where the iconic franchise began. Despite its age, the game’s exploration of medieval cities as Altaïr remains engaging. Central to the experience is the profound creed: "Nothing is true, everything is permitted." This philosophy challenges players to question reality and morality, reflecting the game’s deeper exploration of freedom and consequence. It’s not just a nostalgic trip; it’s a chance to grasp the roots of a story that pushes players to think critically about their choices and beliefs.

Your feet are no less blistered,
Your dreams are no less shy."

So, I just wrapped up playing "In Sound Mind," and I’ve got to say, I’m buzzing with excitement. Normally, I don’t jump straight to reviews, but this game? I just can’t keep quiet. Spoiler-free zone, though, don’t worry.

Imagine this: a game that perfectly blends thriller and horror vibes, with some satisfying combat and boss fights that hit that sweet spot of challenging without being frustrating. The environments are eye candy, the story keeps you hooked from start to finish, and the overall atmosphere is just… chef’s kiss. Oh, and the soundtrack? Absolute banger.
"In Sound Mind" is a hidden gem that deserves a spot in your collection.

Celeste is a charming mountain-climbing simulator where you die every 10 seconds. Madeline climbs for her sanity, while I lose mine. The controls are tight, the spikes are sharper, and the strawberries are more tempting than they have any right to be. Play it if you want to laugh, cry, and throw your controller—all at once.
